Great experience - Our driver Stephen & guide Matthias made this tour so enjoyable for us. Matthias had such knowledge, tips & beautiful spoken English had us engaged from the start. Would highly recommend

Worth it - It was a crappy rainy day and we are so glad to have booked this tour. It saved us from a wasted day. The tour guides were very knowledgeable and showed us around well.

Synagogue tour - Wonderful guide. She was knowledgeable, engaging, and had a good sense of humor. She made the entire experience enjoyable and educational. She was obviously passionate about the synagogue and Jewish history in Hungary.

Highly recommend this tour - The 3-hour City Tour is a great tour to see the most important sights in Budapest. We also had time to walk around the Heroes' Square and later on Castle Hill by the Fisherman's Bastion and Matthias Church and take pictures. Our guide Emese and driver John were excellent. We highly recommend this tour.

Budapest tour overview - Great tour guide with overview of Budapest and wonderful driver. Comfortable transportation. However had 2 very discourteous passengers who were 20 minutes late getting back to the bus after short walking tours (and even the guide went to look for them) and never apologized to the group when finally getting back. So very inconsiderate! Wasn’t the tour’s fault so that’s why I didn’t rate lower.

Great Tour - Our Tour Guide Elisabeth was great, she made the tour in two languages German & English. Great Tour, very interesting.

Just an ok city tour - This tour was just ok We started waiting over 20 minutes for a few folks that we late.. and then same folks late again getting back to the group when we had a little free picture taking time The guide gave highlights in 2 languages which was cumbersome. It would have helped to have audio headsets to hear better. It was cold out and we stopped at random locations for her to share info, that wasn’t that relevant to location.

Poor - Had the impression that the group was just being herded from one place to the next, tour guide walked quickly without checking that people were close behind, little chance for photos, many things pointed out were gone before we could see them. Several people had disabilities but these were ignored when he was racing up the steps to the castle, one woman who was very angry and upset was basically waved away for pointing out that no mention was made that the tour was unsuitable for such participants. His knowledge was good, but not a good tour guide!

It’s a 2 hour tour with 1 of the 2 hours walking despite being advertised as a 3 hour tour with 45 minutes walking. - Tour was supposed to start at 10am. But tour guide arrived and went to each guest to discuss adding an one hour Parliament tour at the end. Those who agreed were sent to the office to buy tickets. We then walked about 5 minutes to the bus. The bus didn’t get on its way till 10.16am. By 12.30pm everyone was deposited at the Parliament building even the ones who didn’t sign up for the Parliament tour. They were not dropped off at the starting point as advertised and you need to make your own way from the Parliament building. The 45 minute walking tour of the castle area was more than an hour. Our guide has mobility issues and needs a cane to help her move slowly along so the group has to stop and wait for her to catch up, catch her breath etc. So, at most, it’s a 1 hr bus tour plus 1 hour very slow walking tour of the castle district.
