Budapest is great! - Budapest is a wonderful city with so much to see. Don't end up in the hospital! My husband was in the hospital for 3 days. The staff was good,the facility ugh!

Couples - Bought the card on arrival at the airport. Little disappointed with the minibud service from the airport. We waited an hour for a shuttle. Used the card for all public transport, river cruise, funicular railway and Luckas bath.
Have a shuttle booked for return journey to airport.
Use the free visits to places and the trains and metro. We navigated the public transport really well.
Hopefully will not be late picking us up.
Worth it to us.

Good card. - Use of card is easy and transportation a breeze, but the directions for obtaining the card are confusing. It says they can be delivered to your hotel, but you still have to go somewhere else to register for them, but that turned out to be wrong! So we did extra steps for nothing.

3 days in Budapest - We purchased the 72-hour card online and picked it up at the airport. It was definitely useful for getting around by public transport but of all that is called "free" mind you that it is only if you buy the 72 hours plus (more expensive, 99€ and if you stop for the weekend is definitely expensive) The main attractions are not included, such as the Parliament, the great Synagogue, the Basilica of St. Stephen, the church of Matthias, all monuments worth visiting. Then yes they offer free entry to the Lukacs spa but even there they did not tell us that apart from the two baths on the 2nd floor, super crowded, there was a nicer sl ground floor pool, certainly larger and less crowded. If I had to make a suggestion: no to the card yes to the daily or cumulative tickets for 10 rides... the cost will never reach the cost of the card

it’s the first time I take a card to visit a capital that has no interest - No interest everything is paying the only things that are free it is useless it is completely useless the paid transport of the day passes it costs much less

Budapest transport warning - Warning! Don’t even think of getting on a tram, metro or bus in Budapest without buying a ticket in advance. You cannot pay once you’ve boarded and will be fined 12000 ft (£25 pp) on the spot. There are numerous inspectors catching foreigners on all forms of transport, no signs on how to pay anywhere and no where to buy a ticket before boarding. Apparently there’s a warning on the airport shuttle, but we got a taxi, so hadn’t a clue. You must download the app ‘Go Budapest’, and always validate/tap your mobile as you board. Transport is very cheap but they make their money from unwitting tourists.

You don't buy it. - there is nothing included, of main attractions, you have to move out of town to find the attractions that are included in the map, some museums / attractions make history even if they are included

No perks, no access anywhere that's not already free. - Don't purchase, everything on the card is already free. Sonthe only thing you are paying for is transportation, which is quick and easy and also 10x cheaper. You're welcome!
