Great Christmas Eve Dinner - From the beginning of our evening the experience was great. The service was really charming, the menu was excellent and the views and music stunning. We really enjoyed our time on board. The only critique I would have is that there was one person in our group who couldn’t make it and we asked for his menu to be put in a doggy bag to go. Unfortunately they didn’t have any containers to do that. Other than that small detail everything else was truly fantastic!

Christmas Dinner Crusie (sort of) on the Danube - Having booked this trip expecting a memorable Christmas cruise we were disappointed that expectation did not meet reality. The cruise whilst actually on the Danube was simply a cruise that went approximately 3kms up river before turning around and we simply went up and down hardly the 3hr cruise we expected of all of the views. A least we got to see the main sights of Budapest many times over! The all inclusive meal and drinks was OK , food nice, wine terrible , we ended up buying wine off the menu as did most of the other tables on the all inclusive package. Note to operators that if you are offering a package at a premium price please at least provide some quality wines.

River views Budapest by night - I have experienced dinner cruises in Budapest on several trips to this wonderful city and was never disappointed. The views are absolutely stunning, This time too, but that's where my praise stops. The program included a 4 course dinner and musical entertainment. To say the least, we were more than happy to sit at the far end of the upper deck. The 'piano battle' was poor' and the accompanying singer worse. Fortunately we had a few blackouts which stopped the music. The staff tried very hard to serve the (advertised) wonderful treats to the taste buds. I must say that in the neighbourhood of our table there were many complaints.The Goulash soup as well as the potato cream soup were an insult to the Hunagrian cousine. We just enjoyed the view and the Hungarian wine we ordered and (promptly) received with a smile. Well done crew. Despite all you kept on smiling

cruise and piano play was good; food unsatisfactory - We booked for Christmas day a dinner cruise with piano entertainment with this company. All together including dinner and a welcome drink 93€. Positive: the cruise was great and the piano entertainment good fun. Very talented people who I wish more participants would too in the end. But: if you pay such a price you expect something from the food. This food here was diner quality for 10-15€ but not reaching Christmas expectations by far. Even worse: now on the next day we are only lying in bed and needed to cancel our activity as we are both stomach sick. Not sure but our assumption is it comes from the cruise's food... Conclusion: come here for fun and a cruise but not for dinner. Hope we'll be fine again for our flight back home... BTW: drink prices are about double of other cruise companies - just saying.
