Christmas Market tour - I can't say enough great things about Katlin Boldizsar, owner and operator of Wonderguides. I almost did not show uo because I was tired of the Christmas markets after arriving from Vienna the day before. This tour was SO much more than a Christmas market tour.
Katlain gave me an extensive history inside the St. Stephans Basilica. This is beautiful structure with so much history. She has a history degree, and her grandmother taught history. I'm a history buff and she loaded me with all the history that I could absorb.
We did some tastings in the Christmas market and did some more exploring in the city. I highly recommend Katalin and her company for any of your travel needs in Budapest!!!

Christmas magic at the Christmas markets - Absolutely incredible tour with our guide Zsuzanna . she was knowledgeable , thoughtful and a fun loving guide. She made sure we learned about St Stephen’s church and the history of the area . We also had a magical experience at the beautiful Christmas at the Bacilica Market
and Vovosmarty Square Market which were both fantastic .? Our guide introduced us the local street foods Chimmney cakes, Langos, and mulled wine. All very tasty! When in Budapest we will always ask fo Zsuzanna. thank u for one the best tours ever. Perfect way to start our trip! Thank u Zsuzamna

Perfect for a weeknight in Budapest! - This was a great tour with Katalin. It was educational and fun…two of my favorite things. She was also very responsive to my unique interests. I learned a lot about Hungary, its history, and its people all while enjoying the Christmas market atmosphere! Highly recommend!

Great tour and excellent tour guide - Susan was an excellent guide. She knew many of the facts about Budapest that only a trained local would know. She brought us through Christmas market, stopped for warm wine and cinnamon buns and showed us many of the antique buildings that were abandoned during the communist period - one that is worth seeing is currently the Four Seasons. She dropped us off at her favorite restaurant which was a Hungarian place called The Strudel. Highly recommend. Great time

Great Tour with Istvan - I had a fun evening touring the markets, watching the 3D light show on the Basilica, and walking along the Danube in between with Istvan. He was very informative, asked if I had questions, and showed me many interesting sites. I highly recommend this tour and/or the Christmas Market Tour with Wine tasting which I did on a previous night. You can't go wrong with either one. Beautiful lights, sights, and treats!

Great tour - Katelin was a great guide. She was knowledgeable, gracious and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed St Stephens cathedral, all 3 Christmas markets, our snacks and mulled wine. I also appreciated her positive attitude regarding my ticket snafu. I highly recommend this tour.

Pick this Christmas market tour! - My guide was great. I was the only person and honestly if you know where to look you can explore the different markets on your own though this tour also includes a tour of st Stephen’s basilica as there is a large market nearby. That alone is worthwhile addition. Learned about the local traditions and the town. Exploring at night is a must do. Sampled chimney cake - knowing where to go is key and other treats.

Great Christmas Market. - The tour guide was great. She did her very best but the Christmas Market was extremely crowded so we couldn't enjoy it as much as we hoped.
She was very accommodating and knowledgable. The light show on the St. Steven's Basilica was a pleasant surprise.
