Away from the City - This tour was nicely paced with a good lunch. The sites were beautiful and relatively quiet on the day we went and the group was nice. This was guided in three languages which sometimes made the explanations long but Atilla was an attentive and informed guide

Very pleasant excursion - Beautiful discovery of several historical sites throughout the Hungarian countryside, with beautiful landscapes. The artists' village of Szentendre is worth the trip. Our guide Attila made the excursion very pleasant, enriching and lively, thanks to his interesting comments and his humor. We appreciated his recommendations and his responsiveness in answering our questions. Lunch was also a very pleasant moment: a hearty meal in a nice restaurant, with a magnificent view. The return to Budapest by boat was very pleasant. We highly recommend!

Nice day out from Budapest! - The tour was very good, Kristina was excellent guide, took care of throughout and gave us all the necessary information. It was good combination of road transport and cruise. The vehicle was very comfortable. One suggestion could be you can skip the lunch and give more time at Szantendre Village where people can buy there own lunch and spend time in the market.

Good mix of history and shopping - After a few days in the city of Budapest, it was a welcome relief to get out into the countryside. Our guide did an excellent job of explaining life and customs of rural Hungarians and brought the region’s history to life. We stopped for awesome photo stops, had lunch at a hilltop restaurant, spent time shopping for locally made goods and crafts and topped it off with an awesome cruise down the Danube, with beautiful riverfront views of Budapests iconic sites.

Relaxed day with many insights - We left Budapest on time and saw a lot. Our guide was Attila, who made a lot of effort and gave us a lot of information. Unfortunately, the group was a bit boring, so he mostly told jokes for no reason. The trip was well structured, but in some places it was a bit different to what was described. The boat trip was unfortunately the boring part, there wasn't much to see. Overall, we had a relaxing day and would happily recommend it.

Poor value trip , nothing really worth seeing unless you are really bored. - Quite an expensive tour at 36000 HUF plus an extra 3000 for a one way hotel pick up.Most of the tour is spent sat on the bus , the scenery was ok but nothing special. We were taken over the bridge at Esztergom for a photo opportunity to capture the Cathedral on the other bank , more of a time filler than an actual experience worth doing. The Cathedral itself was ok but nothing special as it’s fairly new , far better ones in England. The 3 course lunch was pretty basic school dinner standard on cold plates , a Sub Way would have been far better, we spent nearly 1.1/2 hours at this eatery again a time filler.Szentendre was picturesque but a tourist trap without anything of real interest, the boat trip back was ok but nothing to see until we got into Budapest. Overall not really recommended unless you really have nothing better to do.

Don't waste your time - This tour was a waste of time and money. I was in the back of the van and so I couldn't hear a word he was saying the whole time. Even when we got out to see things we would race off a head of people and if you couldn't keep up you never knew what he had described because he wouldn't wait until everyone got together. This was not organized very well. We stopped and was told if we needed to use the restrooms it was a walk in the other direction. What we weren't told was the restrooms only took Euros not Hungarian money. This should have been something mentioned before I walked up to the restrooms. By the time I got back he was loading the bus to leave. I also think two hours is too long to spend in a small town just to shop. It's fine if that's your thing but for people who don't like to shop it was wasted time. This wasn't exactly how the tour was described, very misleading. The only positive thing about the whole tour was the meal, hats off to the restaurant.
