Evening is magical! - We left at sunset (8:00 pm) and then as it starting getting dark and all the lights started coming on, it looked magical, especially the Parliament Buildings. We had the best of daylight and evening. Well worth it!

Beautiful views - The views of Budapest from the Danube at night are a CAN'T MISS! The guided tour part was just fine but the views from the boat are beyond breathless.

Fabulous trip - We really enjoyed this trip it was informative as well as very beautiful , we took the evening ride as the light faded and buildings lit up, truly magical experience, well worth the money , loved it .

To be recommended - Great overview of Budapest at night. The drink service to your seat was great and the audio gave a super insight into aspects of Budapest History and culture

Evening Danube River cruise - It was a pleasant evening tour on a very hot day. The cool breeze on the Danube and the beautifully lit buildings were great.

Just Walk the Danube Instead? - My wife and I went on the evening cruise for photo opportunities and to take in the beauty of Budapest at night. Another factor to our experience is that we were visiting in an unseasonably hot June. Here’s a post mortem of our experience: 1. The crowds push onto the boat in a mad rush to get the seats with the best views. If you’re not prepared for this, or you don’t come super early or are just trying to have a relaxed evening, you’ll likely get a less than ideal seat. The initial direction leading up to the dock is unclear, so even groups that came along later cut ahead in the queue in front of everyone else with no staff to mitigate 2. It was stiflingly hot. Even when the boat moves, there is little to no cross breeze. This isn’t the fault of the cruise, but something that must me considered 3. The seats to the front (the first 3-4 rows from the captain’s bridge) have glass that impedes the view. The glass on the 2-3rd rows is triple pane because it’s a collection point for the rest of the open windows. Not only is it difficult to see out, but the glass was smeared with fingerprints and grime, making it all the more difficult to see, let alone take any decent photos Ultimately, my experience was tainted by people, weather and the position of our seats. Armed with this foreknowledge, I would be in a better position to improve the ride. That being said, I would much rather prefer a leisurely stroll from either side of the riverbank, weather permitting.

Lovely scenery, didn't meet expectations for the price - Was lovely to see the city by river. The girl bringing the drinks round was very polite and doing her best but it did take a while to get round everyone. I feel the price was higher as we wanted the audio guide but only one of ours worked so we did miss out on the full experience

Hot, inside boat. Don't believe the picture. - The picture is misleading. There are a lot of beautiful outside boats on the river - this is not one of them. There is just a very small outdoor area, almost all of the seating is inside a glass enclosed boat that is very hot and has no windows that open or airflow. The tour is pre-recorded audio that is not really a tour but some history of Budapest that every once in a while talks about things on the shoreline that don't like up with where the boat actually is. Choose a different boat. This one isn't great.

Just not worth it at all - Terrible experience on all dimensions. Very chaotic boarding with people pushing from all sides. The audio guides did not work for any of the people on my row of seats so we couldn’t get any information. The headphones also had been clearly used by previous passengers and were not clean or new. They run out of ice and we had a warm drink only 15 minutes before the end of the cruise.

Not satisfied w/ this cruise - The boat was nice and it started on time and ended 50 mins later. We did the 10:00 pm night cruise. The servers never brought us our drink and the device that allows you to hear commentary in your language was not working in our row. Very disappointing experience. Concept is good but execution not so much.
