Mooi Budapest - Good clear explanation from our Guide David. Told a lot about the history of the Jewish people and the synagogue. Good to do with a roller bearing.

Quality and very didactic visit - It is the largest synagogue in Europe, and second in the world. The tour, which is not cheap costing close to 30€, is, however, very complete; it has a guided tour -very didactic, and visit to two adjacent museums. Highly recommended.

So happy that we got to experience Recommend + - Truly amazing experience Guide was wonderful. I Information presented was measured and very helpful. I wish we had bought the ‘long’ tour but was not aware it was available

Very knowledgeable and personable - The tour guide was excellent and he did a great job but it turns out you don’t need to get a private tour. There are guides included as part of the admission price. After our tour we went back into the synagogue and listened to another guide and she was also very good.

A much better tour option compared to the synagogue offerings - If you want to check out the synagogue, this is definitely a preferred option when compared to purchasing through the synagogue website. It's basically the same price and you're going to get a much better and smaller group tour of the grounds. Milan was an excellent guide, full of a bunch of fascinating information on the Jewish history of Hungary and modern religious practices today and how the Holocaust and WWII dramatically changed how Judaism is practiced in the country. Highly recommended.

Very well done small group tour of Dohany Synagogue - Took a tour with Miki of the Dohany synagogue. He is a member of the Budapest Jewish community and gave us an insiders perspective. He was extremely knowledgeable and informative. He told us all about the recent history of the Jews of Budapest, showed us many interesting details about the great synagogue and its grounds, and made us feel part of this beautiful and historic place. His English was perfect and we learned a lot. When I bought the ticket online I thought I was buying from the official synagogue ticket booth. This was a small group experience but I am grateful that we did it this way. We had plenty of opportunities to ask questions and delve deeper into the information than had we been with one of the big group tours. I am glad we ended up seeing the synagogue this way and I would highly recommend booking with Hidden Treasures of Hungary.

Magnificent but guide was difficult to follow and understand - Loved the synagogue and the tour. Our guide spoke too quickly and was difficult to understand with all the people and groups there.
