Synagogue tour - The tour was extremely well organized and the guide was extremely knowledgeable and gave a great presentation on the Synagogue and the history from the beginning and into the time period of 1944-1945 and the tragic events in history.

We are all the same!!! - Unfortunately I have to disagree with the negative reviews I had read before visiting this site Indeed, it lacks in the DNA of Hungarians to make themselves available and to be friendly and hospitable to others. However, apart from the cost of the ticket (which serves to subsidize the whole flywheel of the Synagogue) a particular praise goes to the Italian guide alias "Living Treccani" as well as a language teacher c / 0 university that in forty minutes gave us a brief but very deep excursus of 70 years of abuse towards the Jewish people. After we took a tour of the really interesting external part with explanations and truly touching reflections

Budapest Dohany Synagogue and the Hungarian Jewish Museum - This is the synagogue on Dohány Street. It is a place of worship and also houses the Hungarian Jewish Museum. Here you learn about Hungarian Jewish history and the devastation of human lives during the Holocaust during the Second World War. Guerra Mundial. Half of the 250,000 Jews in the city of Budapest were killed during the war. There is a rich history of the Jewish neighborhood of Budapest that is preserved by the synagogue, the museum and the synagogue-museum complex and the neighborhood. Religious services are held on Jewish holidays.

TOO EXPENSIVE - £55 for two people and not a whole lot to see. They really need to look at how much they are charging. I feel a £10 entry fee would be more than enough.

A way to make money off tourists - Entrance fee at 32.00 € a real madness. To see the usual 4 black and white photos and a stainless steel willow tree with a name on each leaf! The synagogue itself is nothing special.

Never again - Very negative experience. Absolutely crazy admission price (at the exchange rate 30 euros per person with guide). Visit inside that is reduced to sitting with the guide speaking for 5 minutes. We all became aware that a personality was visiting and that therefore some parts (the garden of the righteous) were not open to visitors. The guide left us immediately without even accompanying us to the museum. Absolutely to avoid!regardless of the mishap.

Too bad for the rudeness - Too expensive the ticket and I'm sorry to say it but rudeness with tourists reigns supreme everywhere, at the ticket office of the synagogue the boy who welcomed us was really rude and overfuckin', unfortunately we found this mode in many places, too bad because the city is really beautiful and really beautiful is also the synagogue
