Esther was kind enough to... - Esther was kind enough to meet us at our hotel for the tour. We had already seen some of the highlights that were in the itinerary so she kindly adjusted her plan & took us to different areas. She took us on the bus & train : an experience that we would not have done on our own. She travelled with us to make sure we were back in our familiar neighbourhood at the end of the tour. She did such a wonderful job we ventured out on our own later in the evening to enjoy another dining experience that she had mentioned earlier.She was wonderful with her knowledge & took us to places we thoroughly enjoyed.. We absolutely would recommend this tour & Esther.

Wonderful tour! - My guide, Barbara (Barbi), was outstanding! She provided one of the best tours that I’ve ever taken, and I have taken dozens of tours in different cities all over the world. Barbara paced the tour perfectly and she really made me feel like I was seeing the city with a knowledgeable friend rather than a tour guide. I learned a lot about both Hungarian history and current events from her, but Barbara never overwhelmed me with information. She was also great at answering my many questions. The strudel was a huge bonus as well! I definitely recommend this tour, especially if you’re fortunate enough to have Barbara as your guide.

New year in Budapest - Meeting Barbara, our guide, was like meeting a long lost friend. She was very friendly, warm and knowledgeable. We had a lovely time getting to know Budapest, its beautiful buildings and interesting history. The strudel and coffee stop was a great idea.

Budapest Essentials - On a quick day trip from Vienna, we booked the Budapest Essentials Private Tour. Our tour guide, Barbara, was so knowledgeable, and a welcoming ambassador for her city and country! We regret not booking a longer tour! Barbara instilled in us a love for Budapest, and we will definitely come back for a longer stay. We greatly appreciated learning of the most important sites and monuments in Budapest, and we were treated with coffee and delicious Hungarian strudel at a local cafe! This tour was excellent and we give the highest recommendation, especially if you have limited time. Thank you Barbara! We hope to see you on our next visit!

An insightful city highlights experience - We were a little late but Petra was kind and patient enough to wait for us. It was a morning of going through the major city highlights. Petra was very knowledgeable about the history of the city and she was able to clearly explain the significance of every stop we made. We also enjoyed our snack in which she introduced us to the different flavors of struddel. Afterwards, she gave us some more tips on how to explore the rest of the city.
