This half-day excursion takes visitors by chairlift to the most beloved forest for Budapest locals, offering breathtaking views from the city’s highest point, named after the cherished Hungarian queen, Elizabeth, also known as Sissi.

Stroll through this timeless forest with a series of captivating viewpoints. The hike is easy, mostly downhill, leading back to the lower chairlift station! The tour also includes a visit to the enchanting Rock of Fairies.

In the event of snow or ice, the Rock of Fairies is skipped in favor of a small cave and the 800-year-old ruins of a monastery belonging to Hungary’s most significant monastic order, where even St. Paul’s body was kept for several decades.
