Excellent and inspirational - The trip to Grand Dohány was excellent especially our guide Micky. He explain in detail numerous parts of the synagogue and the history around its creation. Our guide answered all questions and was very knowledgeable. The amount of information gained was tremendous in comparison to just going alone. To me personally, I was inspired to be deeply connected to my roots… with all that changes daily in the world we now live in it was comforting listening to old traditions. Highly recommend this tour and Micky, the guide. P.S. it was very very cold.

Excellent informative tour - Milan was incredibly knowledgeable about both the history of Jewish life in Budapest and the history of Hungary as a whole. We enjoyed every minute of the tour, and we can highly recommend it to anyone interested in learning more about the city and the Jewish history here.

Amazing visit - We went on the extended tour covering 3 synagogues. Incredible. Our guide "Milan" brought the whole experience to life. This is a must. Each was unique in it´s own way and our guide brought 13 years experience to the table. Incredible amount of knowledge all wrapped up with personal anecdotes. Not going to say any more as it will spoil a great tour

Great Experience - Our guide for this tour was Chris. Chris was a wonderful guide. He was timely, experienced and friendly. As a local resident he shared great detail with us. He was happy to answer questions, and was very patient with us. We left this tour with a greater understanding of the historical area, as well as an emotional connection to the history of the Jewish community. I highly recommend this tour with Chris as your guide. He was a 10 star guide.

Knowledgeable tour guide but both synagogues not visited. - We were unable to enter the Rumbach synagogue due to a pre scheduled concert at the synagogue. Viator should have been aware of this at the time of the booking. Very disappointing.
