- Jewish Quarter - We’ll continue learning about Jewish influence on Hungarian cuisine by strolling through District 7, a former Jewish neighbourhood and home to the biggest synagogue in Europe. Nowadays, it’s known for its vibrant nightlife where you’ll find iconic “ruin bars” and restaurants”. They’re a trend on social media but they are still deeply connected to the district’s Jewish roots. You’ll explore the streets with your local guide who will tell you about this history and how it relates to Hungarian cuisine before experiencing authentic street food. Leave your utensils at home, all you need is an open mind! You’ll be eating on the street like a local before heading to some sit-down spots.
- Andrassy Avenue - Now it’s time to explore the other side of Budapest—one with a bit more glamour and style. You’ll stroll the city’s most expensive streets where you’ll head to atmospheric restaurants to try traditional Hungarian dishes.
