This is an “Essential City Tour” if you want to understand Budapest - The name of the tour says it all “Essential Walking Tour”. We arrived the previous day and walked extensively. Then we had our tour with Alexa, she explained in perfect detail what we were looking at and lead us to many sights we would have missed. Without this tour we would have left Budapest knowing far less about the city the history and the culture. This tour is a must if you want to immerse yourself into the city itself.

Great way to discover Budapest - Our tour was very nice and we really enjoyed spending 3 hours with her starting in Pest and going all the way to the Buda side. She taught us how to navigate public transportation which proved to be very useful. She was knowledgeable about the history of the city.

Great guide and great tour - Nomi was very knowledgeable and personable. She explained everything in great detail, answered all our questions and was sensitive to the oppressive heat during our tour. She offered additional suggestions about other things to see, using the trams etc. She was a tremendous guide and we would recommend her highly! Paul Booth and Adele Cappucci Booth.

A meaningful walking tour. - The guide is very knowlegeable about the history of Hungary and Budapest and we appreciate the country a lot more after the tour. She is very friendly, courteous, patient and helpful guiding us through the local subways systems to get to where we go the following day. It was a pleasureable and comfortable walking tour suitable to all ages.

Walking is the best way to experience Budapest - Budapest is a beautiful city. Liberty Square, Parliament building and Buda castle were our favorites. Walking and tram/subway are the preferred ways to experience the city, traveling in a tourist bus doesn’t do the city justice.
