If you’re not keen on being stuck in traffic or amid throngs of tourists, prefer to explore on foot or via public transportation, wish to delve deeper into the architectural details, history, and local lifestyle, and value freedom and flexibility, then join me for a walking tour of Budapest! I am a certified guide and art historian. We can begin where and when you prefer. I advise you to admire the exterior of the Parliament Building, classical and Art Nouveau residences, and St.Stepen’s Cathedral located in the Innercity. The old metro will transport us to Heroe’s Square and Vajdahunyad Castle. We can also peruse the Jewish district. It’s worth making a trip to the Buda side, an escalator or a public bus will transport us to the Castle District where we’ll lay eyes on the former Royal Palace, old Baroque residences with a Gothic touch, the famous Matthias Church, and the enchanting views from the Fishermen’s Bastion.
