Adventurous - The experience is amazing and our guide was amazing.. he’s a geologist and he is just great!! Can be risky and scary at certain points. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes u don’t mind getting super dirty.

Fantastic and unique experience. - Fantastic and unique experience. Laszlo was an excellent guide, I confided I was nervous in small spaces and he was very kind and reassuring and went above and beyond to make sure we all felt safe, whilst educating us about the caves. It is a moderately active experience, as there is crawling/crouching and very small degree of climbing involved, but as someone who is not a fitness gal, it was absolutely fine, if a bit challenging in some places, but that's part of the fun! I recommend sticking to a t-shirt and leggings as you will get very warm in the caves, and you get overalls but will get dirty regardless. Highly recommend, my friends and I had a great time :)

Favorite experience in Budapest - We did this cave tour with Melinda as our guide. Phenomenal adventure. Would do it again tomorrow if we could. That said… there’s a few nice-to-knows. It’s a very physical activity, really only appropriate for fairly fit people. If you’re claustrophobic, don’t go; you spend the majority of the time sliding, scooting, or belly crawling through narrow tunnels. Bring gloves if you can - even hardware store cheapo latex and mesh ones. Someone in our group got stuck, literally stuck (it’s possible it may have been my husband who wears a 34” waist pant). Had to be pushed from one side and pulled from the other to get unwedged. There was an alternative route around this squeeze, so if it feels too tight, tell your guide before you keep trying to squash yourself through. Wear rugged sneakers or hiking boots that you don’t mind getting very dirty. It’s easy to get to on public transportation. Book it.

A great time adventure caving! - I went on the English Adventure Caving Tour with Peter. It was super safe, challenging and a unique/cool experience. Peter is very knowledgeable about the cave system and full of fun facts about the treasures in the cave.

An exciting hidden gem just 15 mins from the city - It is an amazing experience, just a short bus journey outside the city. Our guide was insightful and very experienced, tailoring the course according to the physical ability of the group. His quirky sense of humour will help anyone who is a little nervous. The three hours go quickly, and it's a great activity to do before a visit to the thermal baths or to get away from any undesirable weather conditions outside (the caves are a fairly consistent temperature both in winter and summer). A must-do for anyone who enjoys the outdoors.

Challenging and fun. - Challenging and fun. Way more adventurous than I expected, in a good way. Some really small crevices to pull yourself through! Not for anyone who tends toward claustrophobia. My kids ages 16 and 11 loved it.

Best Caving Trip Ever - Could not have been a cooler experience!! This is hands down the best caving experience I've ever had. Went as a solo traveller and had a super friendly guide - Andrew and an awesome cave system with heaps of nooks and crannies to squeeze through and have some fun.

great experience - Great experience! Szilard, our guide took us down into the caves for an almost 3 hour trip. we had to pass through some very narrow openings and it was physically challenging, in a good way. 11 & 16 year olds loved it. wear cool clothes, bc they kit you out in full coveralls.

Scary but good - I didn't quite know what to expect and ended up enjoying the caving despite finding it a bit scary at times. The guide was extremely confident and could give alternative routes although we did have 1 tight squeeze. Told lots of great stories about the caves. Highly recommended

Definitely recommend - Such a fun experience! I wasn’t sure what to expect as some reviews talked about how tight some fit the spaces got but I honestly never felt unsafe. There are definitely some tight squeezes but never to the point where anyone in the group got stuck or any thought they actually might. You just listen to guides and they will walk you through it. Fair warning, your knees are going to bruised and sore afterwords. Other than that suck a great experience
