Normafa Park - Trying to escape the concrete jungle of the busy city? Get ready to enjoy a unique daily hike in calm forests on the hills of Buda around the city. During a few hours walk in the beautiful nature, you are going to have breathtaking views on Budapest and hear interesting stories that you wouldn’t find in any guide book. I will take you to all the secret spots and lead you on off-the-beaten-path trails, which are not even known by most of the locals either. During the hike I will teach you how to read trail markers so you can’t get lost, even if you are alone without a map or GPS. I am a nature fan, I will also show you the little miracles of the woods. As I grew up here, you will have the chance to talk with me about life in Hungary, and there are no taboos in this conversation.
Join me and receive your surprise after the hike, a little gift for completing the hiking tour. It is going to be a real refreshment after the crowded, noisy city, nature is going to fill you up with energy! :)

Hiking the Buda side - We had a wonderful hike with Laszlo. He was very knowledgeable about the area & history as well as the forest. He even helped us with navigating our transportation to our next destination!

Hiking with Laszlo in Budapest! - I had such an incredible time meeting up with our guide Laszlo and heading up to the Buda Hills for a fabulous autumn hike amongst the incredible Beech Forest. Laszlo is passionate about nature the preservation of the forest and all of what nature gives us. We found several mushroom varieties, enjoyed breathtaking views of the rolling hills of Buda and the city far below. I hope to meet up with Laszlo on my return to Budapest this summer! His hiking experience is just the thing to escape the fast track of the city! Highly recommended!

An amazing with an amazing tour guide! - Laszlo was the kindest tour guide ever! It was supposed to be a group tour, however it turned out that I was the only one booked! Laszlo took care of me and he had so much knowledge that was really interesting to learn about - including the history of the city & mushrooms haha! The views were amazing!! If you are thinking about hiking in the hills of Budapest I would 100% recommend! I’m not the most avid hiker but it was an amazing experience.

Great hike all round - Laszlo was a great tour guide for our hike. He was very friendly and informative. The knowledge and stories told throughout the trip made it a great experience. Laszlo was clearly passionate about his job and ensuring we had a good experience. We were fortunate to have beautiful weather, the hike was a great way to see all of Budapest and the surrounding countryside, the views were beautiful! I enjoyed learning about his other passion of foraging and mushrooms and became quite invested in trying to spot them on our walk! Great trip all round and we would highly recommend the hike, especially with Laszlo as your guide.

Beautiful Hike! - Our hike with Laszlo was wonderful! It was nice to get out of the city for a bit of a nature break. The views were beautiful and we enjoyed the strudel snack as well! We learned about some of the history of the trails, plus some fun facts on mushroom foraging. If you would like to see a different side of Budapest, then this hike is for you!

Great hike - I really enjoyed my guided hike with Laszlo. He was very informative about the area we were in and the general history and culture of Hungary. The views from the highest point in Budapest were amazing and definitely worth the hike. I also really appreciated the strudel we had to start the hike! Would recommend for anyone looking to do something a bit different in Budapest, even for non-hikers!

Whole family loved it! - We wanted a kid-friendly hike outside Buda and Laszlo put together a great day that included food, a great playground, extra toy fun, beautiful routes through the forest, a trip on the children's railway, a hike up the big tower, and more delicious food! We're so grateful to have seen that side of Budapest, and the pictures are beautiful. My children proudly put their certificates and pins up at home. If you're looking for quality outdoor time around Budapest with kids of any age, talk to Laszlo!

Excelent hiking - It was a great pleasure to hike with Laszlo. He is a very nice, friendly, helpful and knowledge person. His knowledge about history, flora and fauna is hudge. If you want to see Budapest from other prospect, to speed time with naturę in excellent company - this hiking your is for you. I recomend - you will not regret
