Great tour with Endre - Endre was excellent. Very personable. His knowledge is far above that of other tour guides we have used. He provides a lot of insight and is not afraid to address the more difficult or sensitive questions that come up. Highly recommend.

Super evening learning all about Hungarian cuisine. - Our Hungarian cooking class was wonderful! Marti was such a great instructor, and she made the evening fun! We learned so much and enjoyed a fine meal that we plan to replicate at home. We could not have chosen a better way to spend our final evening in Budapest! Thank you!!

Cooking with class. - Marti was a great Master class chef. She not only helped us to prepare a wonderful Hungarian meal but shared her culture and customs with us. She certainly cooks with much much passion. The 4 hours flew by, we weren’t ready to leave as she was a wonderful host.

An absolute must if you are a foodie who lives to cook! - We had high hopes for this experience, and Marti far exceeded them. In addition to her professional chef preparation, it is clear that she is well organized and so willing to share her knowledge about Hungarian cuisine and history. While we were in Budapest, she integrated aspects of growing up in rural Hungary. Appetizer and wine & non-alcoholic options were provided. In four hours we made sour cherry soup, chicken paprikash, spatazle and gundel (crepe) dessert. It was fun and a wonderful way to start our vacation. The first thing we did in the next morning was to go to the central market to buy paprika! The cooking studio is efficient and set up for multiple people to work to prepare the meal. Highly suggest this experience!

First-rate cooking class - Excellent class. On the one hand, it is extremely professional both in the cooking (the quality of the food) and in the teaching (the seamless organization of the class itself). On the other hand, you have the fun of Marti’s boundless energy and enthusiasm. I take a lot of cooking classes while traveling, and this was definitely one of the very best I’ve ever seen.

A Budapest Highlight - Cooking with Marti, a Budapest chef, was one of the highlights of our trip. Marti gave us menu options before we arrived and was a very warm host. We enjoyed making appetizers, a delicious chicken soup, a flavorful stuffed Hungarian pepper recipe, and a yummy apple strudel. We learned how important paprika is to so many Hungarian recipes. It was fun to sample Palinka and some local wines.

Professional in every way - We had a wonderful experience! Marti impressed me with her meticulous attention to detail (including sanitation), and extensive knowledge. There were eight in our group; we all participated in food preparation and tasting along the way, and became very comfortable with telling each other our personal “stories”. I’ve participated in several cooking classes, and this was the best and most professional.
