Unique and wonderful experience, highly recommend! - I can not say enough good things about Marti's cooking course! This was the second time we did it, the first time was several years ago on our last trip to Budapest and it was even better than I remember, if that's possible. Truly a highlight of both our trips! Marti is so warm and welcoming, knowledgable about Hungarian culture and helps navigate us through cooking the most incredible meals. Better than any restaurant we've been to and I only hope we can recreate this magic back home.

Dinner Review - On a recent trip to Budapest, Hungary, my husband,daughter and I had a memorable authentic Hungarian dinner at the home of Marti (Kitchen Pixie Budapest). The breads, the chicken paprikash, the Gerbeaud layer cake and other goodies were delicious! I will treasure the recipes, make them often, and think of Hungary and the gracious hosts.

Amazing Food and Wine experience with Kitchen Pixie in Budapest - We had the most amazing food and wine experience with Kitchen Pixie in Budapest. Marti cooked us some wonderful food, shared the history and culture of the food, Hungary and her home region. Along with the food we had 8 wonderful bottles of South Pannonia wine with fascinating information on the wines, the wine region and wine culture of Hungary. This was a 5 star night, we are all looking forward to our next trip to Budapest we all agree we'd love to do it all over again with Kitchen Pixie!

Incredible experience! - We celebrated a friend's birthday with private dining experience with Marti and it was wonderful! Marti is so warm and her food was incredible! We also had a few dietary restrictions (gluten free, vegetarian) and she was very accommodating. This was a great change from eating in restaurants and it was also a nice opportunity to learn more about Budapest from the perspective of a local. We would highly recommend this experience!!

Delicious Dinner Prepared by Marti (Kitchen Pixie Budapes) - The dinner was delicious! We enjoyed our different courses, and Marti spent time explaining the different parts of the meal. She was friendly, and the food was superb. I have never participated in a group private dining experience before, but hope I get the opportunity again. Thank you!!

A truly fantastic host… - This was my first private dining and what an experience. Máta Bedö is owner of the apartment and the host for the event and what at truly fantastic host she was. We had a 4-curse authentic Hungarian menu were everything was homemade with home grown vegetables and herbs cooked after family recipes. I’m sure we couldn’t have tasted such a great menu elsewhere and thank you Máta for being such a nice host

Fabulous private dinner! - Marti's multi-course meal was impeccable, obviously made with love. (I have distinct memories of her matzoh ball soup, crispy roasted goose, and paprika potatoes in partiuclar!) We spent a fun evening, also learning about Hungarian food and wine, which she is passionate about. She's a friendly and charming host, as well. Highly recommended!

Even if you only have one night in Budapest, go to Marti! - It was our first time trying out a Vizeat/Eatwith experience and we didn't know what to expect. But from the moment we rang the bell to the moment we reluctantly rolled out of the door, Marti took amazing care of us and spoilt us rotten.
Marti's laughter was the perfect warm welcome, matching her impressive kitchen and tastefully done dining room. She started us off with warm appetisers with a variety of papkrika relishes to dip into. They were followed by the most delicious, perfectly made sour cherry soup. I'm still dreaming about it.
Marti went out of the way to show me how she prepared the dumplings to go with the papkikash chicken, our main course. Her kitchen is perfectly set up for cooking classes and she has a natural, interactive way of teaching that is very pleasant. I had three helpings of the main course!
Then it was on to dessert, again perfectly made Hungarian crepes with fresh jams made on her mother's farm. There was a generous selection of drinks to have along with the meal: alcoholic and non-alcoholic. My favourites were the cordials: raspberry, cherry and currant, again all home-made. Marti is a superb cook and a lovely hostess whose intelligence, kindness and warmth shine through. It was my husband's birthday and she'd even prepared a delicious, complex cake for him. I would highly recommend this experience to everyone. Even if you only have one night in Budapest, have dinner with Marti!
