Additional Information

Join us for an unforgettable journey - take a trip to the Hungarian Puszta, a section of the Great Plain. We’ll start at the city of Kecskemét, providing a diverse comparison to the bustling metropolis of Budapest. Kecskemét boasts a unique charm and its city center reflects the Hungarian folk art nouveau of the previous century. We’ll then proceed to Lajosmizse. Upon arrival at the farm, we’ll be welcomed with a traditional strong liquor, infamously known as Pálinka. Prior to a horse show, we hop on a carriage for a ride in the “puszta”. Our itinerary then includes the heart-stirring spectacle of the Hungarian “csikós” (Hungarian horsemen). Next, we’ll have a stroll around the stable to see the horses (optional horse-riding) and peruse the native Hungarian animal courts. You’ll be treated to a 3-course traditional countryside meal featuring Hungarian goulash with wine, delivered in the genuine Hungarian ‘Csarda’. We then return to Budapest. Our wonderful adventure concludes in the city centre.
