An experience beyond expectations - Gyuri is passionate, professional and generous. We were a school group of 39 and had a wonderful day of winter hiking in January! Giyuri went out into the field 3 days before our visit to check the condition of the trail. He saw the need for spikes in certain conditions and took care of buying them for all the participants (which we then reimbursed). He and his partner made us feel confident and gave the students a taste for adventure. They took pictures and brought snacks, making the experience even more complete than we’d hoped! Thanks again!!

Great adventure with an amazing guide - Our hiking adventure with Gyuri was fantastic. The weather was less than ideal and he immediately worked with us to get the best experience out of it. He researched the hikes we were going to take for weather and offered us 3 options to ensure we got what we wanted out of the hike. With the rain and clouds, we opted for a different hike then originally planned, and we were so happy that we did. The waterfalls and gorge were ideal for the rainy day. Great colors, sounds, and the right level of challenge throughout. Besides the hiking, Gyuri is a great guide for enjoying conversations of history, nature, and fun stories of previous travels. If you are considering hiking with him, you should definitely do it as he will do more than meet your expectations.

Perfect day of hiking - The day was amazing. Easy pick up from our hotel and then off to Dömös with two other lovely people. The hike was challenging and fun for the first part with a rewards along the way and at the top. Beautiful! The canyon area was completely different and also very fun. A different beautiful. Gyuri was our guide and he was wonderful. Shared facts on the region, shared some snacks, and was a delight to have guiding us. Would highly recommend to people who want a break from the city and want to see the beautiful nature that Hungary has to offer.

Wonderful Experience!!! - Absolutely loved the one day hike experience with Gyuri. I went on my own and Gyuri was great company with plenty of knowledge about Budapest and the area around where we were hiking. Spectacular views and a very doable hike. Would 100% recommend this hike if you are looking to do something active during your stay in Budapest.

Great hiking experience with a great guide! - I had a wonderful time spending the day hiking with Niki! We ended up being a group of 4 and it was a lovely experience. The hike itself was decently challenging as the day is long, but it was worth it for the view of the Danube bend and unique waterfall hiking trail. Niki was also a huge part of the experience as she is very knowledgeable about Hungary, took incredible photos during the tour, and was great in picking us up and driving us home before and after the hike. I was at first hesitant to book this hike because of the price, but the experience of the hike plus Niki’s expertise for the full day made it more than worth it. If you like hiking, have good stamina, and want to explore a different part of Hungary outside of Budapest, then I highly recommend!

Fantastic Day with a great guide - This trip is a must do. Gyuri was a wonderful guide, he had a lot of knowledge, was a lovely guy and did everything at our pace and vibe. Couldn't have asked for more. The hike itself was wonderful, the views and experience absolutely worth the sweat and for us, getting completely soaked in the rain!

Rewarding experience - Beautiful hike! The views were absolutely stunning. I would say this hike was challenging; I’d rate it hard rather than moderate. So definitely come prepared: pack enough water, food (sandwiches, snacks) and anything you might need for the ~6 hour hike. Hiking shoes/boots are definitely recommended. Be prepared to get your heart rate up for the first half of the trail. The last part is downhill and serene. You’ll feel super accomplished when you complete the hike!

Great hiking trip - We had a great hiking trip with Gyuri! Wonderfull nature. Everything was organized perfectly, pick up at the hotel, very friendly guide. We recommand Outdoor Adventures Hungary to everyone searching for a day in the beautiful nature surrounding Budapest

Awesome hike with equally awesome guide - I had one of the most memorable day of my life. This was my first proper hiking experience and there was rain in the morning which made me more anxious. On top of that I came with a road running shoe! But our guide Attila (the Hun!) made it all look easy and we decided to go ahead with the plan. It stopped raining by the time we started the hike. Attila was very helpful and down to earth and with another hiking friend from Netherlands, we made the first steep climb without much issues. The view of Danube bend was awesome and we had some snacks there. Attila shared the apple pie made by his mom and it was amazing. The rest of the hike was equally exciting and the gorge/canyon part with little waterfalls was very beautiful. The effort taken by Gyorgy and Attila is commendable and it’s a very personalised experience altogether and highly recommended
