10/10 would go again - The absolute best free tour you can find with an amazing and funny tour guide, Sophie. She had jokes, answers to all questions, fun information that you couldn't find online and the total opposite of a boring history class! Thanks Sophie!

Mark and Ignacio were fantastic! - I went by myself to the free Luna tour of Budapest, the first with Mark on the Pest side and the second with Ignacio on the Buda side. Both were fantastic tour guides, they gave an incredible tour of the history, culture, monuments, and politics of the city and had an interesting answer to all of our questions. It was a hot day and they were always thoughtful of the sun, heat, and water for the guests. First we went to some of the most busy and crowded spots to hear about the monuments, like the King Mattius church on Buda and the St Peter Basilica in Pest, as well as some less crowded areas for more history we wouldn't have stumbled upon. Every location it felt like had the official history and a fascinating legend behind it. I highly recommend the tour and to just come with some cash to tip, which they tend to accept in any currency. If I come back to Budapest I will do these tours again because they were so beautiful with so much information there's no way I can remember it all just once!

Definitely recommended - Great walking tour. Fortuna was very knowledgeable, easy to listen to with a good sense of humour. Lots of interesting information and sights to see. Over 2 hours, but passed very quickly despite the heat.
