This 2.5-3 hr private exploration takes you into two artificially lit, paved caves. The first resembles an ‘underground garden’ set in Budapest due to its unique mineral formations, including cave corals, calcite plates, and gypsum crystals. The second cave hosts calcite and barite crystals, and layers of calcite from ancient hot-water lakes. You can also observe stalactites and stalagmites here.

Please note: this is an exclusive, English-speaking tour designed for small groups. However, for a reduced fee, you can join the regularly scheduled Hungarian guided tours (frequented by school classes or families), which commence every hour.

Superb - What an experience! I really enjoyed this trip. It started with 3D movie about the caves and some geological facts and data. Peter ( I believe this was the name)the host was very knowledgable and interacting with a group of 7 people. The experience was fascinating: to walk through the caves, hear the history of it and climb the ladder up through narrow cave passage which lead you out of the cave.

A very good tour but if you don't like going up ladders it might not be the best tour for you - Very good. Wear non slip shoes as the floors are wet and if you dont like ladders maybe think twice

Very nice - The guide was super nice and even gave us a great recommendation on where to go to after the tour had ended. The caves were very beautiful. Would definitely recommend! Tip: bring something warm like a vest with you cause it’s cold.
