Best way to explore a new place. - Tours like these are a great way to find out what a city like Budapest is like under the surface. You are guided by a local who can answer all those questions about those odd things you see around you. Would highly recommend doing something like this early in a visit to a city.

2 versus 6 stops - We really did enjoy Anna. She was knowledgeable and informative. However, we only went to 2 stops for a 6 part tasting. The food was delicious but felt incomplete. We do food tasting tours often and all over the world. It was disappointing. If it’s 6 foods versus 6 stops, please make that clear.

Overpriced Tour! - Our tour guide, Nicholas, was very friendly and knowledgable about the history of Budapest, however, this experience was VERY overpriced for a "food tour". My friend and I were asked to SHARE one sausage, a chimney cake, and a langos. We each had a beer as well. The food and drinks were tasty, but this experience costs us $234.00! Definitely did not get our money's worth in food samplings!

Poor Food Tour - Nice tour guide, not enough history of city and food. Also food was not great or enough. 1st tasting was a tiny scone he brought in a Tupperware container. 2nd was a salad with minimal protein. Lettuce was brown. 3rd a chimney cake, which was good, 4th was a Langosh - One was shared by 5 people (Including guide). Hardly enough to taste. Other 2 tastings were beer or wine. Left hungry and went for pizza elsewhere on our own.
