Among the red you can taste Kékfrankos, Kadarka and Bull’s Blood. Besides tasting these wine I will tell you the history of winemaking in Hungary. As a wine journalist and wine judge I know a lot of wine makers in personal. I will also tell some funny stories regarding their wines which we taste. Also do not forget that most of the wines can be only tasted or bought in Michelin star restaurants and top hotels in Budapest.

Great fun, Great wine - The wine tasting experience was both engaging and enjoyable, making for a fun and informative couple of hours. Mikie, our host, was exceptionally talented, humorous, and passionate about the local wines. His warmth and hospitality, combined with his impeccable English, made the experience even more memorable. It was definitely well worth the price, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great time!

Wine the gap? Yes please! - What a great find! Loved the wine tasting with Micky (sorry if that's spelt wrong but you did say like the mouse). Excellent knowledge, fun and interactive. Who knew Hungary had such varied wines, and all delicious. only the second time having Orange wine, and I'm now converted.
Would highly recommend. So many good stories and information to take in.

A must do!! Divine and informative - I booked the private wine tasting for Hungarian wines and Miklos, the wine enthusiast, was my kind and attentive guide for the afternoon.
The experience was absolutely divine with excellent wines that catered to my palate. Miklos had a very good understanding and knowledge of the Hungarian wines and had some good surprises saved for me at the end. Every detail was crafted to perfection—would definitely recommend.

Passion and knowledge and a genuine love of wine and conversation. - The wine tasting is a lovely experience. Miki, the host, is knowledgeable and passionate about wine. He makes the experience so much more than a tasting. You leave with knowledge of the wine regions of Hungary (a map is displayed for better understanding), some history and economics lessons, and a new love for Hungarian Wine. It feels as though you are sitting in his home sharing a glass or two over great conversation; so comfortable and quaint.

Hungarian wine to the world! - Miki was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about Hungarian wine and it's regions. He is particularly passionate about Tokaj. His wine selections were local and well thought through and he finished with an incredibly delicate and nuanced dessert wine. The whole experience was an eye opener for me and I'd recommend to anyone seeking some knowledge about these local (and sadly) hidden gems. For me the highlights were Furmint and Kadarka, with the Rose coming a close third.

Highly recommend - Excellent Hungarian wine. Very in depth introduction to Hungary’s wine industry. Learned a lot about wine in general as well. Mickey is very dynamic which made the tour fun. Recommend.

Excellent Tasting - If you enjoy wine and learning about a country's wines and wine regions, you will thoroughly enjoy this tasting. Micky is clearly an expert on Hungarian wines and very entertaining. You will taste some very interesting wines.

Get to know the wines of Hungary - I am so glad we did this as the first thing in Hungary. We learned so much actually useful info about Hungarian wines that we kept referring to thing we had been told throughout our stay there. Great evening and fun presentation. I am happy I chose to do this and would recommend it to anyone interested in a little more upscale tasting event.
