What a super activity! Loved it! - Wow, what a brilliant activity! Starting not far from the Buda end of the Chain Bridge, this tour takes in the beautiful Castle district through an organised walk. Throughout the walk there is audio commentary through earphones relating to the history of Hungary and Budapest and at various points you pause, put on your headsets and watch animations that take you back in time to help you imagine how that spot looked in the time the audio guide just talked about. The summary of Hungarian history is great: I felt it gave a wonderful overview with just the right level of detail. Our guide was really lovely and friendly and I love the actual route we took through the castle district - very pretty. Be aware it does include steps although the walk is not rushed, you will need a certain level of fitness. I highly recommend this activity. We were a family of four with children aged 12 and 16 and we all loved it. I will be recommending it to friends and family for sure! Thank you VR tours for such a brilliant experience!

Impressive - This was recommended by a friend and we were glad we tried it. The tour was entertaining and informative, the technology worked perfectly, and the staff were very professional. The office was a little hard to find (tucked into an apartment building), but everything after that was great.

Go back in time - Go back in time. Great idea and also great team. The VR experience is much more entertaining than watching a documentary movie or reading a guide . Although I am Hungarian, the content was interesting and focused on the historical landmarks. Definitely worth the money.
