This Budapest Evening stroll begins in the early evening and lasts for 1 to 1.5 hours, making it perfect for those who still want time for dinner or to explore Budapest’s nightlife afterward. It’s also ideal for individuals who can’t take longer walks due to health or other reasons, as the pace and route are easy. The tour starts and ends on the Pest side of the city, guiding you from Elisabeth Square through downtown and the famous Váci Street shopping area to the Great Market Hall on Fővám Square. If you have energy left at the end, it’s recommended to cross the Liberty Bridge and walk up to the top of Gellért Hill (about a 15-20 minute walk) to enjoy the stunning view of the illuminated city.
