Additional Information

Unique non-circular trip. We meet in Budva, and after 1 hour ride… The journey begins near the castle of Zeta’s ancient kingdom, overlooking the expanses of Lake Skadar. A calm river, surrounded by sobbing trees, accompanies us to the lake floods and channels that connect several bays. Amazing views, and changing scenery in a theatre, will leave you breathless. Curly-necked pelicans, grey-backed and small herons, black cormorants, and ducks, as well as many other bird species, nest on Skadar Lake. Until the middle of May, this path runs through crystal-clear water. Later the weather gets warmer and the route changes – water lilies and other aquatic plants bloom. This route is long and therefore you need to be persistent. But it worth it! There is a stop along the way where you can get off and stretch your legs as well as have a hot drink. At the end of the journey, we will visit a local restaurant where we can pre-order Montenegrin dishes for you and Transfer to Budva waits for us

Kayaking tour that never ceases to amaze - We have taken this tour multiple times already, and each time we discover something new. We never cease to be amazed by the beauty and diversity of the flora and fauna along the entire route. The guide knows the area well and provides interesting information about the history and biodiversity of the region through which the route runs. I can also say that my kayaking skills have improved from zero to quite acceptable, largely thanks to the lessons and information from the guide. These trips along this route are becoming a good tradition for our company, so I can happily recommend this activity to anyone who loves nature.

A Scenic Journey with a Twist - We had a wonderful time kayaking, starting on a river and gradually making our way into the lake. The landscape changed several times along the way, so it was far from boring to paddle; there was plenty to see around, and even underwater too :) And of course, during the trip, I captured a lot of beautiful sights. At the end of the journey, a surprise awaits :-) Overall, I highly recommend! You will have a ton of impressions. There were also no issues with the organization, everything was excellent!

Loved the experience - We climbed a medieval castle, spent 6 hours kayaking among the water lilies, grey herons and cormorants, got chased by local swans, beautiful but completely lacking any manners, and topped it all off with a gorgeous view of the river we'd just rowed through. Spring is early this year, so the lake was already more overgrown than we expected, but it was nice with all the flowers and reeds. Arseniy is a very professional guide, he cares about safety of the group and gave us quite a few tips on rowing technique. He tells some very insightful stuff about the country's history, local quirks and gossip - not what you'll hear on a typical excursion. You need to be in relatively good shape to spend the whole day on water, and take some time to figure out how to row and steer properly (we spent half the trip zigzagging from one shore to the other 😝). Also a hat and SPF are mandatory, most of the time you're out in the open and sunburns can get pretty bad
