This Grandma had a great time on the river! - What fun we had! The water levels were perfect and the sun was shining. I was, at first, hesitant to go because I'm 75 years old and starting to feel it. But, no worries -- a helping hand in and out of the raft and very few steps from drop-off to riverside meant an easy time from start to finish. There were fun swirls and twirls as well as smooth sailing with Mark, our capable guide, pointing out great nature observations. Emphasis on safety, proper outfitting of gear, and easy-to-follow river instructions made me feel ready for a great and much needed adventure. I bought my two grandsons Big Foot T-shirts in their gift shop which ended the day as a win-win for all.

Great rafting run for children! - We took our 2 children (ages 6 & 2) on this trip and they loved it! The Adventure company had clean gear, nice changing rooms and restrooms to help us get ready. They had wet suits for the kids and jackets. After changing we bused to the river. The guide was very patient and helped everyone on the trip (we didn’t have our own raft but shared it with 2 other couples). I was worried the kids wouldn’t like it - but they really enjoyed the waves and being splashed. The guide let them paddle if they wanted to. The river was high so our trip down the river took 45 minutes. Very fun experience!

As You Wish Rafting! - We brought our As You Wish Lifsestyle team from Denver and had a great time on the water! The lunch was amazing and our guide, Myranda, was super knowledgeable about rafting and the area. Highly recommend!

Great family trip! - Man did we have a blast yesterday river rafting for Father’s Day! I asked to go rafting as my gift, and we took our two young boys (11 and 8) along with the rest of the family. What a friendly, stress-free operation! Eli and her compatriots at the front desk were happy, helpful and professional. I started with a reservation for 4 and then added two separately a few hours later; Eli called me, made sure we were the same group, and put us all together - that might seem a small task, but the fact that she did it sets her apart from your typical clerk behind a counter. Our guide, Free, was a riot - just as happy and as funny as can be. And yet, standing by the river (where levels are higher than they’ve been in over a decade), he was absolutely serious and professional. As a retired Army officer, I can appreciate levity in stressful situations (it helps the nervous ones ease up), but when it comes down to the actual event at hand, you have to take safety seriously. Free embodied that concept perfectly. We had a great ride, the kids had a field day, and we couldn’t be happier. Well done, everyone!

Rolling on the river - Enjoyed our rafting trip so much! Kotty was a wonderful guide. The amount of experience and knowledge he had was evident. And he was great with our kids! Had us all laughing! 10/10 recommend.

The Adventure of a Lifetime - Shayna was the most incredible Raft guide I’ve ever experienced in over 25 years of commercial rafting all over the world. She was a delightful guide, a master of boating, and an amazing human. After she loaded the raft at the put in, she saw a deer nearby struggling to give birth. Shayna ran over and helped delivered a breached baby deer. She stayed by to make sure they were okay and then returned to the boat to deliver the safety speech. We got on the river and it was a beautiful, clear day. After a few moments, we noticed another boat struggling-a child was falling out of another company’s raft! Shana swiftly guided us over to their boat and used her paddle to nudge the toddler back in the boat safely. Back to the trip. After the family flipper Rapids, Shayna noticed a family picnicking along the river with their adorable little Chihuahua. As she pointed it out to us, we all watched in horror has a golden eagle came and swooped it up high in the sky. Shayna steered the raft towards the shore and jumped out whilst securing the raft with lightening speed. She ran up the hill faster than Usain Bolt and lept into the air about 100 yards, snatched the Chihuahua from the eagle’s talons, then landed safely in the brush. Everyone on the river cheered as she returned the chihuahua, unharmed, to the grateful family. Shayna rushed back to the trip. As she was making her way back to the raft, she found herself between a bear and her cubs. The bear chased her back down the hill to the river. She ran the bank as she yelled “All forward! Go! Go!!” She stopped to punch the bear in the face before jumping into the boat and guiding us to safety. As we rowed for our lives, a mountain lion jumped out of a tree and attacked the bear. Shayna yelled out her commands, while we were all frozen in shock, staring at vicious battle. She shook us one by one until we were a paddling as hard and as fast as we could. The rest of the trip was smooth sailing. When we got to the take-out we saw the most vibrant rainbow over the hills under a unicorn-shaped cloud. We had an unforgettable experience. Everyone had a blast and my family will definitely be booking another Milk Run trip with Shayna.

Great "first time rafting" experience for our family! - We had a great time rafting! This was our first rafting experience and our kids (ages 11 and under) all felt excited, comfortable, and engaged. The guide gave a great "tour" while on the river. The staff from start to finish was fun and friendly and wonderful with kids! We took advantage of the booties and jackets and helmets. Great family photos available too!
