A Day You’ll Always Remember - This was a 10/10 experience! SUCH an amazing day!
We started with zip lining — which was the best zip lining I’ve ever experienced. 7 different lines that went across a stunning vista in the canopy. STELLAR views! There was a camera man on one of the last few lines that took pictures and you could buy them after. They did allow you to bring a phone on the zip lining if you had pockets but most of the day they had photographers so they take pictures of you on each part.
We then went horseback riding followed by a cultural experience where we learned about how sugar cane and pottery was made. We had the opportunity to taste the sugar cane and coffee. We could also purchase handmade pottery.
After that they offered an opportunity to go down the water slide. I didn’t participate but my two friends did. They said it was thrilling and a little scary! Bring flip flops or water shoes with you for this part. There’s an opportunity to change beforehand if you need to.
We then had lunch which was buffet style and had plenty of options to chose from including salad and vegetables, rice and beans and meat options.
Lastly we took a tractor ride to the hot springs where we could sit in a sauna and then apply volcanic mud to our bodies before washing it off. Then we went into 3 different hot springs. This was my favorite part! The hot springs were SO beautiful! They were in the lush greenery and by a river. It was so peaceful. We ordered an Imperial and dried off before heading back. Bring a change of clothes with you for the ride home.
The tour guide and everyone we came across at the nature preserve were so nice and helpful. They provide towels so you don’t need to bring those. But we brought bags with us and were kept on our bus throughout the day so we didn’t have to tote it around.
The day was SO much fun and I can’t recommend this tour more!!

Amazing, but you'd better be fit! - WOW!!! What an amazing day of activity, education and fun! On the brochure, they said that it was a "moderate" level of activity/fitness. I would disagree with this because you have to hike up the mountain twice, once to zip line and once to go tubing. (Some of the older people really had trouble)

Awesome Experience!! - This was a great day with a couple of first time experiences. I hadn’t ridden a horse before, and the experience and the trail to the mud bath and hot springs was great. The horses new where they were going, so it was pretty easy guiding the horse. The MOST AMAZING were the 7, YES, SEVEN different zip lines that we experienced over the beautiful rainforest. We chose not to do the water slide, and for those that don’t want to do zip lining, there was an option to do the hanging bridges instead. The tour guide was great, and it was a great day.

Great trip and everything included - Excellent time on this excursion. It may seem a little confusing on what's included/etc, so here it goes:
This included our transportation from the resort to/from the adventure park, and the activities (zip line, horseback riding, lunch, waterslide, and mudbath / hotsprings). You don't need to buy an extra ticket or any additional fees, outside of souvenirs and tips.
This isn't a go at your own pace. You go with the group to each activity, and do everything together. You also can't do things more than once sine it's a group outing.
Our tour guide was Harry, and he was awesome.
If you're looking for an excursion to this location and not sure what to buy, this is the one.

A Great Time - Went as a group of 4 women & we had a blast. Walter prepared us for the trip & was wonderful. So knowledgeable and respectful. All of the activities were fun and the day flew by. The team was wonderful too, great stories and snacks given.

Wonderful day even for a mid 50’s year old :) - This trip was so much fun! I was so nervous thinking maybe it would be too much for me in my mid 50’s, but I made it through and I’m so glad we didn’t cancel! I didn’t do the water slide, but I was able to get really cool video of my daughter from one of the bridges. I was also a little nervous thinking that there was rappelling, but there wasn’t! Whew! So the challenge a made for myself was zip lining, and I’m so glad I went for it! Going over the rain forest and sharing the adventure with my 17 year old was wonderful! Costa Rica has given us the vacation of our lives so far and we love all the memories! On this trip we also had a very relaxed horse ride where the big blue butterflies kept me company the entire way.. We had a cultural presentation where you get to chew on Caña ( sugar cane) and drink Guarapo with mandarines in it, and also watch a native sculpt from clay. The buffet lunch was really delicious too! The entire day was very laid back, although the activities were very active! Although they of course encourage you to do it all, after all that’s what you are there for, they do not force you. After lunch we took a tractor ride to another part of the property where we got to take a mud bath, dry out, wash it away under outdoor showers ( very cold) and the dip in 5 pools , from hottest to coolest. You have a place to change in and out of your bathing suits, so no need to have it in all day during the other activities. Everyone was asleep on the ride home!
Overall an amazing day!

Great activities, Poor Company - Would not recommend booking through this company. It was very difficult getting in contact the tour operator. Our transportation never showed up. The concierge at our resort was able to contact them and arranged transportation for us through another tour where they had to bring us to bus stop to connect to our tour. Was never informed about having to connect to another bus. If i known, I would have booked through our resort instead for the same price. We were panicking we would miss our excursion because of the lack of organization/communication on the company’s end. Once we were on our tour everything was great! Sofia was our guide she was informative and helpful throughout. Gave us tips and made sure we did all the dry activities together and all the water activities together instead of them being mixed. Sofia knew the area and arranged each activity so we wouldn’t be waiting on lines. If I could rate Sofia separate from the company I would, but that’s not an option. I would definitely recommend doing this excursion but through a different company.

BEWARE, Read the fine print! - Schedule my tour at 11am for the next morning, however I decided to cancel the tour because I was having an allergic reaction to bug bites and I did not want to be trucking around a rainforest getting eaten up by more bugs. So, I sent a cancellation request at 5:33pm, however because I did not cancel within 24 hrs of the trip, they would not refund money....$315.
Now I understand the 24 hr rule, however for this to truly apply, they should not allow customers to book within a 24 period because that will give u time to cancel. This is just ridiculous!!! Don't do it, buyer be ware!
