Looking for evidence of what happened to the Afro-Argentine population. - Karl was very friendly, personable and patient. Karl methodically guided my wife and I around key areas in the city and pointed out monuments and buildings with extensive histories. It was also great seeing how Karl interacted with individuals along our tour. We were able to learn a lot about Afro-Argentine history as we attempted to connect the dots regarding how the Afro-Argentine population decreased so significantly and almost completely in a 150 years and how it’s barely an afterthought. I recommend anyone with an interest in what happened to the Afro-Argentine community to take this tour.
