Gastronomy: the variety of dishes is limited but very good. Typical argentine cousine. Appetizers: empanadas (popovers), soups - main courses: mini chorizo steak, grilled chicken, pasta and homemade bakery - desserts: american cream ice cream with berries and italian meringe.

Early supper and tango show - Great experience. As it says it’s an early show ending at 2130 so no need to stay up too late. It’s a great mix of tango / gaucho and music that maintains interest throughout. The venue is small and feels intimate. Ask to sit in the front section if possible. The view from our table was excellent. The food is good if not spectacular but look at the price, it’s good value. Plenty of wine on open pour made for a good night all round and back to our hotel by 2200 We booked thru tripadvisor incl dinner excl transport for a great price Highly recommended

Lucky choice - Meal was better than we expected. Small, historic theatre. The Gaucho performance was great, as were the tango couples; frequently changing costumes.

Fantastic - Easy checking in, showed us to our table. Food was fantastic (sirloin steak With potatoes and wine excellent. Wasn’t sure what to expect and we were blown away with dancing, singing, gauchos with bolas and musicians. Great evening and nice people at tables around us.

Would recommend! - I was pleasantly surprised by how enjoyable this show was. I was a little worried it was going to be gimmicky and very touristy, but the dancing and music were lovely. The show started about 40 minutes late but went for a full hour, with lots of dances, a few songs, and one gaucho-style performance. I didn't opt for the dinner but other people at the table clearly enjoyed the meal and the portions looked very generous and nicely presented.

Tango show with dinner at Eljibe - I must say that the show was terrific and the dinner was delicious. Reason for my 3 star rating is: (1) the front desk guy did allow 10 other people to get in before us, although we were waiting to go inside since 6:15 pm. (2) when I asked them if we can sit in the front tables, the waiters lied to me saying there are “reserved for VIPs”. But 15 minutes after show started the same waiter allowed three people to sit in the front. This is sad! (3) a woman was forcing us to get some pictures taken by her in spite of me telling her multiple times we do not want you to take our pictures. After 4 attempts she quit asking us further.

Good show but hot and crowded - The show was great and dinner was decent (caramel crepes were delicious!), but it was so hot and crowded that it was hard to enjoy. It was 80 Fahrenheit with no air movement. We arrived at 6:45 and were seated 3/4 of the way back so I would definitely arrive earlier. They served food from the front to the back, and we barely got our dessert before the end of the show so I don't know about the people who were further behind us. They definitely had time to bring around the plate asking for the tip before the end of the show though. 😉

Pretty good! - The food and the show were good, but not amazing. However, it’s the only early tango show in BA. The staff at the venue worked hard and the food was abundant. The tour operator was able to adjust our tickets for a later date because ew had flight delays, so that was appreciated.
