Best layover ever! - We had a long layover between flights in Buenos Aires. Carlos picked us up at the airport and kept our bags safe throughout the day. Francisco was a fantastic tour guide! We combined the food experience as well as a walking tour of La Boca. We had a wonderful time and then Carlos took us back to the airport. I was so pleased that they were able to work within our schedule and highly recommend other people consider a similar activity rather than spending the whole day in the airport!

Take this tour with Laura! - Laura was a fantastic tour guide, and was able to cater our experience to our desires. We were going to be returning around 15 to 30 minutes before the start of the tour (Friday traffic), and she was in constant communication to make sure that we were able to start the tour and make accommodations If we were unable to return on time. She was so insightful on both the culinary delights of Buenos Aires, but also included a lot of the history of San Temlo, and the streets we walked. We had had Asado earlier in the day, and she mentioned that you must try Argentina style pizza, so she was able to manipulate the tour to habe us try pizza instead. Laura was so sweet and when we come back to Buenos Aires, we will do the tour again! Thank you Laura for such a lovely experience! Highly recommend this tour! Each stop she described the history of the location, the food, and why it is important to Buenos Aires cuisine. All of the food was delicious, and so weee the beverages

Gastronomic food tour San Telmo - This was our 4th tour with these guys!! Our 3rd tour with our guide Sebastian. He is absolutely great!! If we could rate Sebastian we would give him 10 stars!! He is down to earth and so easy to talk to. It's like walking around with your best friend all day!! Romero is the man that does all the scheduling and coordinating for these guys!! We had a lot of communication with him. It was always prompt, precise and courteous!!! Juan is the owner and the Man in charge. He runs a tight ship and all his men show it. I have a severe shellfish allergy. I informed them the day I scheduled the tour. They did not forget and took this into consideration before scheduling anything!! These guys truly care about you and the experience that you are going to have!! Give them a shot!! You will not He disappointed!!!

A lovely evening in San Telmo - Buenos Aires Gastronomic Immersion Tour was a fun experience, and Gabriela was a great guide. We had the opportunity to tour and learn about San Telmo, and experience the history, cuisine and beverages of the area. At each stop, we were given many different food and drink options to choose from, and it included sampling of wines, appertifs, appetizers, salad, steak and desserts. And we were treated to a lovely accordian serenade with dessert.

Deliciously full belly and warm heart! - Highly recommend this splendid trip. The four places we went to for each course were extremely charming, delicious, and different, and aren't necessarily places you would think to find on your own. It was great conversation and opportunity to learn the quirky and fascinating history of San Tellero. The sites are quite an added bonus. Special credit to superb skills of Ezequiel for such a delightful night

Avoid this tour - I received a text the night before the tour to confirm that there was to be no pork served during the tour as mentioned in the allergen specifications during the booking of the tour. They confirmed the request by return text. They arrived at 6:30 (for a 7:00 PM pick up) stating that the time of the tour pick up was 6:30 and they were wondering why we were late. I was told that the driver had to be at the airport for a pick-up at 8:00 and that we needed to leave earlier than the scheduled time. The guide and driver were a bit miffed that we were not ready at the earlier time. Once we departed on the tour the guide, Stephanie, answered our questions, but did not seem willing to engage in providing information without being prompted. At the first food stop, the primary offering was pork and we had to remind the guide that we did not eat pork. The restaurant was actually a bar (we had a minor with us and advised the tour operator of this prior to the tour onset) that was a second rate establishment. The next stop was to an Empanada booth in a market that was closing and they were not ready for us. Since the establishment was not ready for us and had to sit at a booth across form the food provider. The third stop was at a restaurant where the meat quality provided was inferior, while the side dishes were good. The last stop for dessert was not ready for us and we were rushed to complete the offerings as Stephanie said the time allocated for the tour was completed. Then the driver was late arriving to drive us back to that hotel. By all means, avoid this tour and the tour operator, Experience Baires.
