• Estacion Retiro Belgrano - We’ll make a stop at the iconic Retiro Train Station, a bustling hub of transportation in Buenos Aires. This historic railway building serves as the starting point for our exciting journey by train to San Isidro. Here, we’ll board the train with our bicycles in tow, ready to explore the beauty of San Isidro and its surroundings. • San Isidro - We’ll make a stop at the charming San Isidro Train Station, a tranquil and picturesque arrival point on the outskirts of Buenos Aires. After a scenic train journey from the bustling city, we’ll disembark here with our bicycles ready to begin our exploration. San Isidro welcomes us with its colonial charm, tree-lined streets, and vibrant cultural life. From here, we’ll venture out to discover the charms of this delightful town and its surroundings, enjoying its historic architecture and beautiful riverside landscapes.
• Catedral de San Isidro - We’ll visit the magnificent San Isidro Cathedral, built in 1898 in a stunning neo-Gothic style, an architectural gem evoking the grandeur of bygone eras.
• Plaza Mitre - Exploring the historic district of San Isidro is an enchanting experience, with its cobblestone streets, well-preserved colonial houses, and tree-lined squares. With its nostalgic ambiance and rich history, it’s a perfect place to immerse oneself in the culture and enjoy a tranquil stroll.
• Puerto de Frutos - We’ll explore the Puerto de Frutos in Tigre, Buenos Aires, a lively artisan market where visitors can find a wide variety of local products. In addition to shopping, we’ll take a break for lunch, and enjoy river excursions and a charming shopping promenade along the picturesque Luján River.
• Delta El Tigre - We’ll sail through the Delta del Paraná, an extensive network of rivers, streams, and wetlands near Buenos Aires, Argentina. This sailing experience will take us through lush landscapes, charming islands, and diverse wildlife, offering a tranquil escape from urban life and the opportunity to explore the region’s natural beauty from the water.
• Paseo Victorica - We’ll pedal along the picturesque Paseo Victorica in Tigre, Buenos Aires. This charming pedestrian promenade runs along the coast of the Luján River, offering stunning views of the river landscape and the Delta del Paraná. Along the way, we’ll encounter lush trees, benches for resting, and some restaurants with terraces providing a spectacular river view.
• Museo de Arte de Tigre - We’ll pass by the Tigre Art Museum (MAT), located in Tigre, Buenos Aires. Once the Tigre Club, this historic building now hosts a significant collection of Argentine art, featuring works by renowned artists. With permanent and temporary exhibitions, the MAT provides an enriching experience for art enthusiasts visiting the area.
