A highly recommended tour - I liked this tour. Mariano's care was excellent. It has the best disposition and is well prepared to give a context of all the places it takes you. It was a pleasant experience.

Very personalized tour of BA - We arrived in Buenos Aires from an overnight flight. It would have been very easy to go to our Airbnb and sleep for a bit. Instead we were met by Mariano and his Dad at the airport. From then on we were in for a wonderful treat. Mariano provided us with a personalized half day tour of the city that he clearly loves and knows quite well. He made sure we had water, and stopped at a cute cafe for us to get lunch when we were hungry. He explained about the history and culture of the city. He answered all of our questions. He also introduced us to alfajores- an Argentine cookie with filled with dulce de leche. Yum! I strongly recommend booking your tour of Buenos Aires with Vivir BA Tours. You will be so glad that you did!

Excellent guide and a great experience - We had the most wonderful time touring with Mariano! We had a multi generational family group of four ranging from 20s- to 80s in age. Mariano was so informative, charming and just a delight to spend time with touring Buenos Aires. He took us to hidden corners and places we would not have discovered on our own as well as the major tourist sites. He likes to personalize tours based on your interests and is a great with communicating and coordinating before the tour. We did our tour with pick up from our Airbnb, but I know he picks up at airports and at the port for people in transit who would like a chance to see the sites. Having a private tour was a great use of our time in Buenos Aires. Mariano's English is excellent, which allowed us to ask all kinds of questions and really get to know the city better. I highly recommend this tour!

Informative and relaxed and full of little surprises - We did two tours with Mariano - one when we arrived just to get our bearings and the second to La Boca. Mariano is everything you want in a guide. On time, organised and INFORMATIVE. His understanding of Argentinian history and context, right down to random topics not on the tour (i.e. Malvinas) was impressive. And there was so much unexpected information - like the stones around a statue in the square each representing a health care worker that lots their life in the pandemic. Great value for money, he knows his stuff and can't wait to learn more about BA from Mariano on our next trip. And I think, without a guide, La Boca would have just been a crowded, brightly painted place ... reminiscent of other touristic areas.
