Sep 2023 - The show is nice, it also includes a free tango class at the end. Only that the tourism agency that sold me the ticket on Sunday did not have a transfer service and I had to go and return by taxi.

More show - less Tango. - Purchased from a local tour company. Great service. Responsive to text messages, organized passenger pick up and drop off. Food was great! I had potato and leak soup, a massive steak with chorizo, and lemon mousse The show itself started very late- around 10:45PM- finishing close to 11:45 PM. The orchestra, singers, and dancers were all talented. It was more of a show than a tango. There was very little actual tango and the current show is about women being forced into a brothel. I always thought I’d Tango as a more romantic- less sex/y stripper kind of dance. I was looking for more classic tango. It was supposed to include a 30 minute tango lesson at the end, but the buses were ready to depart and we were pretty tired. To be fair- the website does not include the class in the price categories.

I went for a tango show and they offered me something else - Strengths: The artists, singers, actors, musicians, display pure talent. Fantastic. The waiters, very good attention. The food, very good. I have consumed empanadas and chorizo steak. Very good. Observations/opportunities for improvement: -Dessert, regular. Flan with dulce de leche, the most typical, with an old-fashioned flavor. Inappropriate use of dulce de leche pastry and cream about to be transformed into butter. -Reception employees, at the entrance door and counter, misaligned. -In a place frequented by tourists, the signage is only in Spanish. -Regardless of the talent and professionalism of the artists, the show was an incoherent mix of tango, techno, chacareras, and malambo. We went for a top level tango show and we find a proposal whose logic was difficult for us to understand. In a couple of scenes, an unpleasant setting of strident or excessively bright blue lights, and at times, dark images, added to the fact that the choreography and the costume, were expected for a television entertainment show, where the dancing couples They compete for a prize, but not for a “tango” show. -The worst was when, in an attempt to narrate the history of tango, they presented a long scene in a brothel, where situations of human trafficking for sexual exploitation take place in a “funny” (?) (unintelligible) tone. -Another forgettable, and unconnected, moment was when a gigantography of the face of Eva Duarte de Perón, wife of a military man, former president of Argentina, appears as scenery for the piece of the musical “Evita.” The performance of the actress and singer was excellent. The relevance of that piece, in the “tango show”, inadequate. I hope they can improve the guiding idea of the show.
