FAB-U-LOUS - We booked the premium show as recommended by our hotel. We were picked up on time (mini bus). Waiter was attentive but pretty stretched looking after a lot of tables. Good choice on menu. Food was good - better than expected- husband said steak much better than one he had night before- found food quantities too much but all beautifully presented. The show was AMAZING. The dancers were incredible - the speed and intricacies of the dance was almost too fast in parts to believe what you are seeing. Previous reviews mention poor staging but it didn’t detract for me. The narration was in spanish which we dont speak but it didnt matter too much. There was also some singing- dont cry for me argentina left me with goosebumps. An early start the next day prevented us joining the lesson- unfortunately. Dropped back at our hotel with no incidents. Well worth going to this show

Unforgettable Dinner Tango Show @ Madero - I booked a VIP table for my wife and me for a dinner & tango show at Madero Tango as it is not too far from our hotel. Pick-up was on time from hotel to Madero. We spent few minutes to look around the area, with part of Buenos Aires beautiful lighted skyline in front of us. Dinner VIP menu had many choices for starters, main courses and desserts, and drinks & alcohol (Champaign, red and white wine) were freely available. The selected meals were excellent. The show started on time, live with orchestra and many dancers /singers, and was wonderful because the spectacle program was well conceived with a mixage of dance, singing, solo, duo, group choreography...The VIP area is just in front of the stage and it’s worth the money :-) In addition, we got a free photo taken together with a couple of dancers at our table.
We had the option of free Tango lessons after the show, but the improvised area for that purpose is small and a bit dark, and one could not fully hear what the teachers were speaking or giving instructions.
However, it was an unforgettable Tango evening in Buenos Aires 👍

In general a good experience - Pickup was kind of confused, we are expecting to get a call when they arrive at our hotel, but was informed that they don’t do and expect customers to wait at the lobby during the 30 min window allotted for pickup. Got the steak but was not asked how I wanted it cooked so it was not to my liking. The show was good tho.

Big build up, but disappointing experience - Read a lot about this show and ended up booking the premium show and dinner which should have included personal premium car pick up and drop off plus front row seats, a chef prepared dinner, choice of wine and free drinks all night.
We were really looking forward to it as it was our last night in Argentina. We sat patiently waiting for our 'premium car's only to be picked up by a coach which then proceeded to stop at a number of other hotels - not very personal, not very premium and definitely not a car!
When we eventually arrived at Modero Tango we were dropped off in the road with no instructions from the driver. We followed the crowd to the entrance and queued to get I only to be very rudely treated by the front of house staff, who didnt seem the least bit interested in ensuring we had a good evening.
The seats were right next to the stage, so close it was difficult to see the stage without getting a pain in the neck. Our package included a pic with the dancers, which was awful, taken with a direct flash so looked like we had gone for interrogation.
We got no choice of wine, just a bottle of Malbec on the table and once it was gone we weren't offered any more and the waiter was nowhere to be found until the end of the night when he placed a card on our table to say its customary to leave a 10% tip and then came round 3 times to check we got it.
The food was OK, wasn't expecting much in a venue of this type and wasn't disappointed.
At the end of the night we had no idea which bus to get and the organisation was non existent. Eventually found the right premium car, sorry I mean decrepit old bus even worse than the 1st one which then ended up taking an hour to get us back to our hotel despite almost driving past it once and then literally driving past our hotel road 3 times even though I told him to stop each time. Eventually we got off and walked.
The tango show was OK, the dancers were good but the production was poor. Whoever was in charge should know that sticking a big, low resolution LED screen at the back of the stage isn't a replacement for a full production, it's just unimaginative, perhaps think about incorporating media presentations into the production.
In summary it was poorly organised and we felt like cattle being herded through a money making machine, not exactly premium. If you want tango show and dinner I would look elsewhere, I'm sure you can do better.
All in all it was poorly organised and we felt like cattle herded through a money making exercise. If you want tango and dinner I'm sure you could do better

poor - We took the transport, dinner + show formula in VIP seats (in front of the stage). The bill mainly concerns dinner and transport. The meat was tough, poorly cooked and full of fat. Everyone at our table left some on their plate. I looked at the other tables, it was the same. The wine was too young. At the end of the meal just before the show, the waiter presents you with a card which specifies that you must tip! As in France we don't have a tipping culture, I found this unwelcome and I was shocked. The show is calibrated for tourists; good but nothing more. The sound was a little distorted. At the end 2 dancers show you, if you want to participate, the tango steps; nice. The shuttle will pick you up at your hotel, for the return it will drop you off 3/4 minutes walk from the hotel! fend for yourself. As the weather was nice it didn't bother us but in the rain I wouldn't have appreciated it.
In conclusion, there are better places elsewhere.

Nothing special - Our table was right off the kitchen with waiters coming and going all the time. A table can fit up to 10, so you are squeezed like a sardine. They have round tables so you may have to turn your neck or chair to watch the show and hope you are done with dinner by then. The show didn’t impress me that much and they should provide some sort of explanation or summary in English… although no one speaks English in Buenos Aires. Food was average. I wouldn’t book it again
