The ideal tour - As first timers in Buenos Aires we chose to do the private city tour to get an overview and hit the highlights - so that we would know better how to spend our time over the next few days. What a great decision it turned out to be! The booking was arranged effortlessly on WhatsApp. Howard turned up on schedule at our hotel and proceeded to provide the most comprehensive, informative, entertaining and relevant introduction to the city that we could have hoped for. We covered a lot of ground, were lavished with loads of information - yet it never felt at all rushed. Along the way Howard offered many insights and personal tips and observations that we simply wouldn't have gotten on any other tour. We got to understand the layout of the city, see many highlights and also learned a lot about life in Buenos Aires and Argentina generally. All the way Howard was subtly sensitive to our interests and accommodated our requirements with grace and kindness. We had done some research on the city beforehand and so for us the tour was a wonderful way to orientate ourselves and put perspective on what we had read. But this tour would work equally well for someone who has no knowledge of all about BA. Really, if you're a first-timer, do yourself a favour and book this tour! (And if you're not, try one of the more in-depth tours offered on specific topics/areas.) Undoubtedly one of the best experiences we had all holiday.

Great Half Day Tour of Buenos Aires - Our guide Howard, although he was British, was very knowledgeable and informative. He guided us through the city and provided valuable information. He was also very accommodating to our needs.

Best Tour In Buenos Aires - Wow, you want to see Buenos Aires in a few hours? Howard is your man. totally informative, extremely knowledgeable, and a joy to be with. Picked us up from the airport after our overnight flight from the UK, with good communication and took us to our hotel in the city with a mini tour on the way. Then the next day we had a four hour comprehensive tour of the city including all the main attractions, both the incredible architecture in the cemetery where he seemed to know the history of each family tomb, and the Casa Rosada, and rose garden, we finished with the Caminito, an historical neighbourhood full of historical art and culture. Thoroughly recommended.

Great tour - This if the way to go when you have unlimited time in Buenos Aires a private tour. Our guide was Harold and he has lived here for over 10 year. He picked us up at the EZE airport ( additional fee of course). We went to all of our bucket list places and at our own pace and didn’t have to wait for other people to catch up.

A walk in the park - Our visit to the Buenos Aires Rose Garden just for its sheer beauty. Our tour guide Duhas (sic) was extremely personal and engaging as we discussed the similarities and differences of our cultures over the course of the day.

FALSE adverting regarding Itinerary - VERY DISAPPOINTING. Our "tour" was not even remotely as advertised. We were 2 couples who booked a private tour and chose this company as their advertised itinerary was very comprehensive and covered all the areas and attractions we wanted to see. Of the 10 places we were meant to see, we saw 3 only!! It was a very small vehicle, certainly inadequate for the four of us and the driver. Sitting in the middle on the rear seat meant I got to see very little. All day the driver had huge problems finding parking places which wasted a lot of time. At the first stop following a brief talk by the tour guide, we were left to wander around a park by ourselves as he had to move the car. The next stop (not mentioned on the itinerary) was the same - he told us a little about the building and then left us to go and find parking. Our third and last stop was the Cemetery. We were dropped off a considerable distance from the Entrance and told to walk the rest of the way while he looked for parking. The visit to the cemetery was very interesting but we were there a very long time. After we exited we were instructed by the guide to walk to a shopping mall nearby and wait for him. It was almost 45 minutes before he picked us up. We were then driven around the area where a lot of foreign embassies are located and then returned to our hotel. This "tour" was appalling considering we paid almost $800. I followed up with the wholesaler to request a refund but the company declined. They did not even acknowledge the complaint nor offer an explanation or apology

Didn’t work out - They did not show up to pick us up and did not respond to messages. In all fairness, I’m not sure Viator should have booked this at the last minute.
