Another view of the city - An experience of community integration. We toured the neighborhood accompanied by Elizabeth, an excellent guide. The proposal combines history, migration, urban and environmental transformation in the coastal sector of the city, enjoying the views of the River. And it concludes in the Vivera a cooperative of women who are dedicated to the cultivation of vegetables, aromatics and native plants. Our visit coincided with a Monday when the food court was closed. I recommend going on Tuesday and Sunday when it is open, ideal to end with a lunch or snack. And then visit the ecological reserve

The best way to get to know the neighborhood from the inside - I loved the walking tour! Eli is an excellent guide, he invites you to learn about the daily life of the neighborhood, its urbanization process and all the impact initiatives carried out there. We organized an experience for a group of students from a university in the United States in which we were able to visit La Vivera, where we tasted tea with plants harvested on site and did a planting workshop and ate in the Gastronomic Patio, trying all kinds of flavors Latinos. For many of the students it was the first time they visited a popular neighborhood and they loved the experience. Eli knew how to manage the group perfectly and answer the students' questions with a lot of respect and charisma. It was a spectacular experience that I recommend 100%.
