Not to be missed - Small group tour far better than expected. Not a huge estancia geared up for tourists, but a far more intimate venue in tranquil setting. Service was excellent throughout incl plentiful meal incl wine/ beer. Fernando was great guide. Horse riding easy esp for beginners. Musical entertainment over lunch incl dancing was great.

Great day - The tour guide, Stella, was excellent. She knew the venue and the staff and helped us all the way through the day. The horse riding was fun and the food was good (a lot of food!). It didn't feel too 'made up' and the venue is a working ranch

Fantastic day out with a great tour guide - We recently went on the gaucho day tour with our tour guide Yael. We were a small group of 5 and Yael engaged with us all so well. Her English was fantastic and we all had a great time in her company. She was very engaging and you could tell how much she loved her job. This made for a wonderful day. We were picked up on time in a nice van by Charlie our driver and made our way out of the city. Stopped for a coffee and bathroom break half way to our first stop of San Antonio de Areco where we looked around a silversmiths and the church. It’s such a pretty town and a good start to the tour. When we arrived at the ranch we were greeted with gorgeous empanadas and a choice of drink. We then did the horse riding around a small part of the ranch which was great fun. They have steps to help you get onto the horse and the horses are so tame so perfect for non riders. The ride lasted about 30 minutes and the gauchos took some pictures of us. Finally we had a lovely meal outside at lovely decorated tables with wine, beer, water etc. All of the food was delicious cooked on the Asado and we were entertained by musicians who got us all up dancing. It was great fun. One of the gauchos then demonstrated some horse whispering which was fantastic. We had a really great group which made the tour as we were laughing and chatting all day. It was the perfect end to our trip to Argentina.

Great tour - I really liked our guide, Marcel. He was experienced and entertaining. He had a lot of information you wouldn't typically get on a tour, and it made it very entertaining. Although it was cold and pouring rain, we still rode the horses as promised. I would suggest anyone booking this tour bring a rain poncho and a good coat (if travelling in the winter, at least). The estancia was very authentic and the staff and guides were fantastic. The food was plentiful and delicious. I had a great time.
