The class will be held in an old Buenos Aires convent, where you can also see how it was inhabited at the beginning of the 20th century. If you already know how to dance, we can improve your technique, and give you new tools. The class lasts 60 minutes. Then, we will all go together to a milonga (social place, where we dance every night). In the milonga they have a drink included. We will stay with you for 1 hour in the milonga, and then you can stay on your own if you wish.

With us, you will feel like a local tango. We do not want you to live the tourist tango, but you can enjoy a real milonga night. You will be accompanied by two tango dancers who have been dancing in milongas for 20 years. You will know the codes, movements and the history of tango.
The activity is semi private, we handle small groups so they feel accompanied and can learn and ask everything they want!

A transforming experience - If someone ever told me that I will enjoy dancing, I wouldn’t have believed him! I booked the course as a present for my wife and went with a feeling of ‘lets get it over with’. I stand humbled by the wonderful, emotional experience facilitated by Catalina. She was passionate and professional, as well as patient and perfectly adjusted to our needs and pace. She managed to transfer the magic of tango onto us in just one lesson. The Milonga we went to afterwards was very authentic and besides dancing ourselves, we could enjoy watching pure art of Tango danced by locals.

Unforgettable Evening - I had such an enjoyable night, first having a lesson from Catalina, then visiting the milonga. It was a pleasure to spend time with Catalina in this environment, learning more about the art of tango. I even had the opportunity to dance, making for a complete experience. Next time I come back, I plan on taking another lesson to feel more confident in my skills on the dance floor. Thank you, Catalina!

A wonderful evening - Catalina, our instructor, was warm and engaging and had us dancing the basic tango very quickly. At the milongo, it was as if we were there with a good friend.

First steps in Argentine tango.. - A very authentic place and a great experience with local Tango lovers. Our teacher who introduced us to this wonderful world of tango was called Catalina and she herself was very kind and carefully approached our first steps in the tango.

An excellent authentic tango experience 👏 - My wife and I had a wonderful argentine tango experience with a lesson from Catalina followed by a visit to a malonga dance hall. Amazing, unforgettable evening! - Thankyou for the unforgettable evening Catalina!
Catalina was really patient with us and learned us the basic steps of tango before we went to an authentic, amazing Milonga. Catalina is very friendly and she made us feel really comfortable. I was quite nervous, but that went away fast.
If you want the “real” tango experience, you really should book this evening with Catalina! Of course, the tango is a dance that should be studied for years to be real good at it, but the fast course lets you experience the feeling and vibe of the tango.
Thank you for this amazing experience! We wouldn’t want to have missed it for the world.

Great experience! - Very enjoyable way to learn basic tango steps and practice with the locals! Katarina was a great guide and explained a lot of tango culture and history to us, and was also able to adapt on the fly to our requests and interests.
Only wish is that we had gone to a milonga with more locals at it, but it was also during the World Cup celebrations so there were some safety concerns at a couple of places.
