Root tango, traditional and without acrobatics like others I've been to. The beautiful costumes, the band puts on a show of its own - Impressive, exciting, excellent dancers, the songs, the show in general of a high level. The atmosphere is wonderful, the dinner, wines and waiters too

Wonderful evening of tango - This show was outstanding, worth every penny! Very professional. The dancers are skilled. Loved the costumes. Three dancers with drums were unbelievably good. The food was great too. Wonderful evening.

Learn to Tango - Be adventurous. Take the Tango lesson prior to the dinner and show. Our instructors were patient and had us doing the basic Tango in no time. The food, wine and show were won’t. Tango Porteno is a must in Buenos Aires.

Enjoyable Performance - The tango show was very good, would recommend. I don’t understand Spanish and all the songs were sung in that language, but i could still feel the emotion. The dancers were excellent and the production was very well done. It didn’t seem ‘spontaneous’ and everything was staged, so maybe it wasn’t the most authentic, but it was a very good show nevertheless. Would recommend. We didn’t opt for the dinner so our seating was very far back which was a bit irritating as everyones heads were in the way, but there was no obstruction such as pillars etc. They told us to arrive by 9:30 and we came at 9:20; ideally should have come by 9:45 pm since the show started at 10. I had thought that coming earlier meant a better spot, but I don’t think that was the case since others were placed in front on different tables when they came later.

Great show - The show and dinner were perfect. Wish I could dance. The only problem was pickup. We had paid for transportation and it turns out that the venue was across the street from the hotel. When no one showed up we walked 5min

Tango in Buenos Aires - The show is beautifully done, and definitely worth going to if you like to watch dancing. The band was also great. They did a good job of mixing it up with both slow and fast dancing along with some great singing. We skipped the dinner and just went to the show and didn’t feel like we missed anything.

Bad organization - Somehow they got my booking but not that we were to be picked up so after an hour and half waiting we had to pay for taxi and missed the lesson 🙃 then we had to eat our dinner in the dark when we arrived. The show was great but then we had to find our own way to the hotel even though the manager tried to put us on a shuttle twice!!

Great show but skip dinner - As said by many, the quality and content of the show was v good and entertaining even if it did stretch to nearly midnight. We booked through our hotel and it wasn't ultra expensive for show+dinner+transfer from hotel and back. Down sides 1. the dinner tables at front of theatre were jammed packed together with v little space between them or for getting out to toilet and were also v uncomfortable nor was view great as you were seated at an angle 2. The photo ops with dancers were a bit grabbing and charged at $20 each photo rising to around $25 if you used credit card 3. Food was v basic - soup ok, steak big and tasty but tough, veg a bit cold and nothing special and dessert was ok probably the best and 4. The inclusive alcohol was not v free flowing - had to try hard to get attention of waiting staff who were business like but not v friendly (however request for tips was v direct)!

Not spectacular - It was our first time attending a Tango show and it just wasn’t for us. It was okay but far from spectacular. It reminded me of Charlie Chaplin with the music. We opted for the pick up.service and they arrived almost 45 minutes early to pick us up. We raced to get to the hotel where we were quick to arrive.

Great dance, terrible place - Great dancers and musicians, terrible service otherwise. When booking the no-dinner option you are seated up on a balcony with a fence that takes up half the view of the stage. There was a fan blowing so hard everyone up there was freezing and the people working there were unhelpful and rude. It was not possible to buy anything but water up there. A shame with such great dancers and show, to have the circumstances ruin it.
