An unforgettable tango experience - The show was breathtaking from start to finish - musicians and dancers were terrific. The food was okay but you can get a decent meal elsewhere so meal option not essential- the service in the restaurant was 10/10. Note the restaurant is across from the tango show. The service for drinks at the show was also great and prompt.

Perfect! - Perfecto! Exactly an hour and a half. No intermssions. Non-stop excitement for just the right amount of time. Some of these tango shows can go for 3 hours. I would not survive a long show that starts at 10pm. This show is a little outside the city center, so if you want a show in the heart of the area, this isn’t it, only a few minutes out though. It was perfect for us.

An unforgettable night - I had two recommendations to go to the Viejo Almacen: from a dear colleague, who visited Buenos Aires five times, and from the staff of the hotel where I stayed, when he said he wanted a show of traditional Argentine tango. I went full package, dinner and show. It's not cheap, but my experience was quite positive. A dinner from reasonable to good, slightly below the standard of the great local restaurants, but in the sum (dinner + show), it's worth it. The service of the waiters is extremely friendly and kind, and the dinner is not as I thought, in the old warehouse, but in a lounge next door, which makes the program have first and second time. The show, about 1:10h, is exciting. It starts with two dancers, which surprised me. It has beautiful numbers of dancing and even bowling... A group of great musicians. And in the end, one of the most prominent singers of portenho tango, Hugo Marcel, who made me cry, by singing "Por una cabeza". It was an unforgettable night.

Exactly what we were looking for... - We selected this option having seen many reviews about Tango shows and were not disappointed. We had already booked a dinner that evening, so chose for the show option only. We arrived and were immediately seated at our table. There is not a bad view in the house. We were given our first of 2 drinks and settled in to watch the show. While the stage itself is small, they manage to get a lot of people on it at once and they are all top notch. The evening begins with a video that tells you all about the history of the building itself and when the Tango began there. The dancers were fantastic and full of energy. There was also a lovely lady who sang, a couple who performed drumming, tapping and an unusual performance with "clackers' on strings. Very hard to describe, but unbelievable to watch. The orchestra was just incredible. Especially the pianist. The energy in the room was palpable. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Just when we thought it was over, an older gentlemen appeared who was obviously a national treasure. Think Dean Martin or Tony Bennet. He was fantastic! I cannot recommend this show enough. You will not be disappointed.

the tango show to see - We took the dinner + show package. The dinner was excellent as was the wine. We cross the street and enter the performance hall. Varied show with dances, songs, folklore. The dancers are impressive. The musicians are having a blast. You are entitled to 2 drinks of your choice during the show. We saw another tango show which had nothing to do with it and was of lower quality (meal and show).

Dinner so-so, Show spectacular! - Buying the dinner/show option got us seats right next to the stage. Words can't describe how great the dancers were. We did the show the night before getting on a 12 day cruise around Cape Horn and through the Straits of Magellan to Valparaiso Chile, and the show was one of the top highlights of the entire trip. 👍👍

Outstanding Tango Dancers! - The tango show was amazing, definitely a must see! The venue itself was small but cozy and you could see the dancers really well no matter where you are sitting. The customer service throughout the entire experience was top notch, including communications and the transport from our hotel to the show and back which was super helpful to have. The only slightly disappointing piece was that the fixed menu at the adjacent restaurant wasn't the best food we had in Argentina, so if we were to do it again we'd skip the dinner package and choose to pay for the show only. Overall, a great way to get in touch with one piece of Argentinian culture.

Median. Evaluate the cost-benefit compared to other options. - I purchased the VIP package. Dinner well below expectations for the price of the package. Despite having more expensive options such as mignon and salmon, the dishes are not well prepared. The salmon tartar for starter had little salmon, and the chocolate mousse for dessert, well, it wasn't a mousse, but a chocolate tart with red fruit syrup…. The show itself is in a more intimate place, on a small stage. Good music and dancing, nothing special. Finally, evaluate the cost-benefit and compare it with other options available in Buenos Aires. I probably wouldn't return
