Excellent show, with great food - This show is available for those who don’t want to start an evening at 10pm. The atmosphere was very 20’s, the staff were attentive, the food was good, certainly better than we expected, and the show was incredible. A great mix of different dances, but lots of tango too!

Enjoyable experience We recommend it . - You choose your dinner from a menu with a variety of choices, the strip steak was the most popular at our table , after eating the show started It was very enjoyable . Esp, after learning about the history of the dance and music .

Great dinner and show! - The driver, Alejandro, was exactly on time and we were the only ones in his car. He even offered to make an extra stop so that we could look at the famous El Ateneo bookstore. The dinner was delicious (much better than expected ) and we had fabulous seats front & center. The dancers, musicians and singer were all impressive and we enjoyed the show tremendously. Would definitely recommend.

Yes, it really takes two to tango - After arriving in Buenos Aires in the early morning, an early tango evening appealed. The Aljibe venue was intimate and quite beautiful. The dancers and musicians were top notch and enthusiastic, they appeared to be enjoying themselves, and the audience was noisily appreciative. The food was very good, but stick to the steak (versus the catch of the day). The evening ended promptly at 9:30. A very enjoyable evening out!!

Early Dinner and Tango Show. - The Tango Dinner and show was excellent. High energy entertainment with great dancing and singing. The only drawback was confusion regarding a change of venue. Viator notified us about that, but didn’t keep us posted about pickup time at the hotel and we didn’t know if the van would come to our hotel. Luckily, the hotel concierge contacted Viator and the van and guide arrived. Maria Enis was an excellent guide and gave us valuable information as we rode to the show. But we really didn’t know if there would be a van coming to pick us up and that was a worry with eight people having purchased tickets for the show. Also, Viator needs to make sure clients have downloaded What’s Ap since that is how clients can contact the tour company. It turned out to be a great evening, but lots of angst beforehand.

Good Dancers but Excellent Orchestra - This tango show was in a beautiful setting with good dancers and they performed a variety of tangos. We had seen one other show which was very good with maybe slightly better dancers but what differentiated this was the orchestra, especially the box accordion player. Apparently he has a long history of playing for tangos and besides being an outstanding musician, he was animated and just seemed to be having such a good time it rubbed off on the audience. Overall the food was satisfactory but the orchestra made this show stand out.

Great experience - Great fun, food was great, pick up efficient, great show, only marked it down because of our waiting staff in the restaurant who was quite rude & abrupt, told us beef cheeks wasn’t meat like we were stupid or something and I think we’d made the best choice, then half way through the show he was pestering us for tips.

Tango show - great. Dinner just oksy - Our experience did not begin well as the bus picked us up 40 minutes late. The driver was quite rude and did not help any of the elderly patrons onto the bus. This was quite different from any of the other people we encountered who were unfailingly courteous and helpful.
We got to the show in time and our seats were good. The meal was decent, especially considering the large number of people who were being served. The show itself was a combination of tango and other dances, gauchos, and operatic singing. All were highly skilled, but the gauchos were amazing. They definitely were the highlight of the show.
We recommend that visitors skip the dinner, save some money, and just attend a tango show.
