Highly Recommend - I did this cooking class with my family and it was amazing!! The instructor, Jia, was such a sweetheart and very informative. She was very thorough in her teaching and also gave funny backstories. It was a very intimate setting which I enjoyed. Also we got tea at the end which was very delicious! I highly recommend to take this cooking class! You won’t regret it! Thank you so much Jia!

Ongo Foods Korean cooking class - My friend and I had an amazing and enjoyable cooking session at Ongo Foods Communication. Ms Jia was very engaging and clear in her explanations of the Bimbimbap and Bulgoggi recipes we registered to attend. She gave us a briefing of the necessary ingredients for these recipes followed by a demonstration of the preparation, cooking process and plating. Ms Jia also shared useful insights and tips about Korean cooking, ingredients and sauces. We were each assigned to a station with all the necessary ingredients and condiments prepared to begin cooking. Ms Jia would prompt and guide us throughout which was very reassuring and appreciated. Tasting our cooked Bimbimbap and Bulgoggi was the highlight and finale to the session. Highly recommend attending Ongo Foods cooking classes to learn Korean recipes. Would definitely attend Ms Jia's classes when we visit Seoul in the near future.

Culture through cooking - Glad I was able to be accommodating even though the only person booked for that class. All in all it was a great experience and conversation about Korean food and culture. I’ll definitely be using these recipes at home! Thank you so much

Wonderful Connection to Korean Culture - The cooking class was the highlight of our stay in Seoul. It is held in a lovely kitchen in a historic part of Seoul. Jia was a wonderful teacher and taught us to make two delicious Korean dishes that she demonstrated and then we cooked for ourselves. The dishes were simple enough that we can replicate them at home. We also learned a lot about life in Korea. It was a real cultural connection.

Excellent cooking experience in Bukchon. - This was a wonderful experience. I enjoyed learning a little history of Korean food. The explanation on how to make the food was explained well and demonstrated step by step. Then we were allowed to do our own chopping and preparing with help to remind us what was next. The food was delicious as well. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Highly recommend. I was wishing my teen daughter was with me because she would have loved it.

It was so much fun and delicious. - I watched the teacher's demo, and then we all made our own and ate last. And during the protests, they even talked about Korean kimchi, which I really enjoyed. They told me that I could teach in Japanese, but because the participants wanted English a lot, I proceeded in English, but I was able to make it without worrying because of the gestures. Market visits were about a previous classroom, and they've moved there and they're not doing it anymore, so I think it's sad to look forward to that and sign up. I was a little bit sad, too, so I lowered it by one star, but if that was correct, it would have been five stars. It doesn't seem to have been corrected yet. (It's been a week since I finished the lesson) Please be careful if you make a Reservation as it is only for cooking classes
