Your day will begin bright and early, leaving from Tashkent and arriving in Bukhara by morning. Here, your well-informed guide will take you on a journey through the city’s most important landmarks, like old mosques, tombs, and religious schools.
You’ll get to see awe-inspiring examples of Islamic architectural designs and understand the profound history of the area, including Bukhara’s influence on Islamic art and tradition. Your guide will also help you find the city’s top dining and shopping spots, letting you experience Bukhara’s everyday vibes.
In the unlikely event that the high-speed train isn’t available, we will ensure you travel in the most comfortable section of the regular train.
- Transfer to the Tashkent Railway Station at 06:30 in the morning. The high-speed train, Afrosiyob, leaves from Tashkent at 07:30 and arrives in Bukhara at 11:17. A guide and driver will meet you at the station, which is a starting point of the Bukhara tour. Moving to the Old City. Full day excursions with a guide in the historical center of Bukhara. After the tour you will be transferred to the airport for a flight back to Tashkent. Meeting at the airport in Tashkent and transfer to the hotel/ home.
- In the evening, after the tour, take a little time to rest in the Bukhara airport, before arriving back in Tashkent around midnight. Even though you might be exhausted after such a long trip, the memories you make will stay with you long after the exhaustion has faded!
- Note: On rare occasions when the high-speed train is unavailable, we will replace this with the most-comfortable class of regular train.

Bukhara Day Trip - Must Do - Highly recommend this day trip and 5 stars to the operator Gotouzbekistan. The entire trip was amazing, starting with the train journey, the mouth watering lunch and the historical tour of Bukhara. The tour guide Dilfuza was very professional and knowledgeable. Her friendly welcoming attitude and patience (we had a 5 year old, so you can imagine) made the tour all the more great.

Bukhara surprised me with... - Bukhara surprised me with its rich history, which was conjured up for me by an excellent guide. We had a pleasant walk through the city, which ended with a delicious lunch. Overall rating 5 stars. The logistics of the trip from Tashkent, organized by GOTOUZBEKISTAN, were also very convenient, despite the dynamism. I hope to return someday.

Bukhara with beautiful guide Noza - Visited Bukhara on November 2, 2025. Our guide was the beautiful Noza. To say we're lucky is to say nothing. It was a great tour, we listened to the guide to the point where we almost missed the train. Our guide is a highly educated and fully developed person with a deep knowledge of the history of the native region, namely Bukhara. At every turn, she provided not only historical background, but also added legends to it all. She gave a tour of the holy site as a gift. She knows how not just to convey the facts of history, but to immerse an ancient city in the atmosphere, revealing its mysteries, legends and culture. I thank this city came alive before our eyes in all its glory. Noza managed to adapt the route to our interests. Organization of the tour at the highest level. If the guide is in Bukhara, only the incomparable Noza! By the way, Noza met us on the apron waiting for the train station and walked us back! Thank you very much!

Skip to mountains. - Mirzo, was very nice and kind. This tour is must for people who wants to try other than history. Lake , trekking , cable car and chair lift( becareful very scary). All must do things here.

Remarkable activity - Excellent activity. The local guide in Bukhara takes care of everything: explanations about the city, tickets to the monuments, and arranging transportation between different points in the city and to the airport. The restaurant chosen for lunch is wonderful, with beautiful décor and style, plus the food and service are excellent. The only inconvenience is that you have to find the local guide upon arrival in Bukhara, there is little time for shopping, and there is a long wait at the airport before taking the domestic flight to Tashkent.

Highly recommended!!! - Another great tour from Gotouzbekistan company. Both train to and flight back was smooth. They communicated very promptly about pickup and drop off. At Bukhara, I had two guides, mother and daughter, my first. Both Dilfuza and Gulirano were excellent. They explained everything about the city. Took me to a local place for lunch and the food was excellent. Overall I had a great time. I would definitely recommend this tour and the guides. You won’t be disappointed.

Bukhara.... going back in time and simultaneously exploring a future galaxy far far away... - Bukhara is like going back in time centuries ago or going into the future it looks like the set of a Star Wars film yet it has building that date centuries back that have preserved well without need for reconstruction. The tour was very well planned with the truly amazing guide Dilfuza being the best part of it. She has such passion and dedication to her work and such kindness on a personal level it was a joy and a privilege to explore Bukhara with her. Her driver and assistant was Aziz was also very kind and very helpful and knowledgeable.

Bukhara is worth the visit! - What started out as a very unorganised day - limited information, train ticket timing not shared, at the train station way earlier than required, and no driver on arrival in Bukhara (despite the advanced booking), did eventually turn into a great day with our Tour Guide who was incredibly accommodating and informative about the Sites in Bukhara and the Bienelle taking place.
