- Ulugbek Madrasah - The oldest madrasah in Bukhara and the only Timurid-era monument in the city.
- Abdulaziz-Khan Madrasah - The most splendid madrasah in Bukhara and the first monument to incorporate the color yellow.
- Poi Kalyan Mosque - The Poi Kalyan complex includes three monuments:
- Kalon Minaret - the tallest minaret in the city and one of the three pre-Mongol invasion monuments
- Kalon Mosque - the largest medieval mosque in the city, restored in the 16th century after Mongol destruction
- Mir Arab Madrasah - the only higher spiritual educational institution that has continuously operated since the founding of the former Soviet Union, where boys still study today
- Ark of Bukhara - The winter residence of the Bukhara emirs, known as the Ark, was considered a “city within a city.”
- Moschea Bolo-khauz - The mosque with the tallest columns in the city. Also known as Chilustun (40 columns), although it has only 20 columns, the reflection in the reservoir creates a different illusion.
- Chashmai Ayub Mausoleum - The city’s Water Supply Museum and the mausoleum of “St. Jehovah.”
- Ismail Samani Mausoleum - The first mausoleum in Central Asia and the second in the Islamic world, dedicated to the founder of the first local empire in Central Asia.
