AMAZING food tour - The Cairo food tour with Mila was one of the best food tours we’ve ever been on! Mila took us to hidden gems we would have never found on our own, offering a true local experience of Cairo. From street food to traditional dishes, we tasted it all—and be prepared to eat a LOT! Every stop was unique, and Mila’s knowledge of the city and its food and culture made the tour unforgettable. Highly recommend it for anyone wanting to experience Cairo like a local and Mila was an amazing guide!

Delicious food from restaurants off the tourist trail. Excellent host. - I wish I had a bigger stomach for a day as Mila introduced us to more than a dozen new and delicious foods, i.e. go to this tour hungry! Mila was gracious, knowledgeable, and excited to share her passion for Egyptian cuisine. We greatly enjoyed our food tour. It was a good value.

Fantastic tour - don't miss!! - When Magy says local, she means it. This is not a tourist trap; she introduces you to local foods in a neighborhood you would not likely visit on your own. She is a fantastic guide who really wants to share the food and culture of Cairo with you. Cannot recommend this tour highly enough. My only advice is is: come hungry, and pace yourself!! It is a lot of food. Absolutely worthwhile experience.

Food that tells stories - Maggie is a wonderful guide. She has laid everything out very systematically and she is very accommodating. She is an advocate for tourists not to be scammed. This tour teaches you so much more than food, it teaches you the way of life of Egyptians and it is such a humbling experience. I definitely recommend this tour, especially with Maggie!

Amazing Experience - I throughly enjoyed myself with this trip. Maggie was very knowledgeable on the daily food Egyptians eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The pastries were yummy. This was an amazing experience. I keep hearing on the saying you will know the culture and the people thru their food and I strongly believe that. Maggie showed us the other side where Egyptians do their daily lives. They are wonderful, kind and very friendly people. Their food was amazing. So much work are put in their food. I really enjoyed this experience and Maggie was the cherry on the cake. She super funny, kind and I enjoy my time with her. I highly recommend this excursion and I highly recommend Maggie.

Amazing! Best food tour in Cairo! - Find your way after sunset, twisting through the bustling markets past enthusiastic sellers- this tour has everything for the senses! I highly recommend choosing the local food tour, but you can't go wrong with any option led by Mila. As someone who has lived in Cairo for a few months, I was pleasantly surprised when our group was taken to a neighborhood I had never explored. With zaney wit and enthusiasm, Mila gave us a comprehensive briefing at each stop- not only about the dishes but also engaging details about Egyptian culture and life. Find yourself flipping Falafel dough and rubbing elbows with street vendors; if you're looking for a genuine immersion in everyday life in Egypt and market culture- this is the tour for you. The tour also featured the perfect amount of walking between destinations to balance out the feeling of fullness. From sweets to savory, fresh fruits and refreshing drinks- Mila covers it all, and you definitely won't leave hungry!

A cultural and culinary delight amongst the locals in Cairo! - Our experience with Magy, was exceptional! Magy is very personable, knowledgeable, and a wonderful guide. We felt safe, and hassle free. Being guided through examples of breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as snacks, street food and desserts, that Egyptians enjoy, was enlightening! It was an amazing culinary and cultural experience we would never have had if it weren’t for joining her tour. Magy has excellent food knowledge and is a joy to converse with. My husband and I had thoroughly enjoyable evening! Highly recommended experience, Thank You Magy!

Get off the beaten path and EAT! - This was a terrific way to get into parts of Cairo that I otherwise might not have visited. Our guide was very knowledgeable and we were welcomed everywhere we went. The food was all very varied and delicious. It was a lot of food! I’m glad we came hungry. This will be a great memory of our trip to Cairo. Transportation was all organized from and back to the meeting place.

Tour with a local - If you are in Cairo, you need to book this tour with Magy! She is very knowledgeable and shares all her info with you as she shows you local neighborhoods tourists would not see on their own. This is my first time in Egypt and I'm traveling alone but Magy made me feel very safe and comfortable even in area where I was the only tourist. She was also very accommodating with time as I wasn't sure exactly when I would land in Cairo. Definitely book with Magy for a unique experience with a Cairo local!
