Top notch tour experience! - Top 10 most beautiful places in the world. Our tour guide, Valentine, was incredibly knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. I hope to connect with him again. We have some incredible photos to share. I highly recommend him. We saw Rhino, Kudu, Baboons, A Black Mamba, Small Spotted Gennet, Bush Bock, Guinea Foul, and more. He took us to see 10,000 year old Bushman markings on stones and taught us about plant life that is unique to that region of the world. Oh yes, don't forget to enjoy the majestic sunrise!

Superb trip with Tawanda, strongly recommended - We had an incredible trip with our guide, Tawanda, who brilliantly led us through the National Park and all the various sights inc. the Rock Caves, World’s View and the Rhino Walk. Tawanda was engaging and extremely knowledgable: he grew up in the area and his experience really made this tour stand out: his knowledge of the various animals, insects, flora, caves and trees was astonishing and he is also a great story teller. Transport was all excellent, we were picked up from our hotel and had a great few hours out. Strongly recommended trip!

Culture, history and great conversations in Matopo National Park. - I booked the day before and Lesli made time for me. We visited the Matopo National Park and saw some animals, however the sun was very hot that day so there weren't that many animals. Nonetheless, the experience was still great! Leslie took me to a couple of caves where we got to see 3000-6000 year old cave paintings and he told me about their story and what scientists assume. Then, we visited a crazy natural stone formation where Cecil Rhodes is buried. And we had a nice view over the national park. During the complete trip, Leslie and I had interesting, reflected and very open conversations e.g. about the history of Zimbabwe. I can only recommend him since he is a knowledgeable and well-prepared guide who does a great job.

Company license expired/ 2h at the Entrance Gate/ Didn’t get in - Tour began at 8:20, got to the National Park entrance gate around 9h and spent 2 hours there trying to get in the park. Turns out their license to operate in Matopos was expired. They made an effort to put me in another tour which was starting at 13:00 and that was nice (and expected) of them. But I would have to wait there at the entrance gate until then. That means staying there from 9am to 1pm (4 hours). I got very disappointed and just wanted a refund. They drove me back to my hotel and were efficient to make the refund through TripAdvisor, I was happy about that. The guide was very friendly and he was really sorry about everything. My advice is that before you book this tour with Bonisa Excursions you check with them first if their Matopos National Park license is not expired.
