The trail consists mainly of earthen stairs, often accompanied by a bamboo pole for support. While it’s manageable in dry conditions, it can get slippery when wet, especially if you’re in flip-flops. Despite this, the natural, rarely-trekked path is a rewarding experience. Beyond the waterfall, you’ll find a water curtain cascading down a wall of lush rocks, making it a perfect spot for a refreshing swim on a hot day. Buyan Lake - Lake Buyan and Lake Tamblingan, separated by a rainforest-covered hill about a kilometer wide, are connected by a narrow canal leading to a community pool called Telaga Aya.
