Buleleng is home to several waterfalls, which are less famous than the beaches. So, if you’re looking for a change from the beach scene, Aling Aling Waterfall is a great choice. It’s less crowded than the beaches in Kuta, making it an ideal spot for some peace and quiet. The drive there is filled with beautiful scenery, giving you a chance to explore North Bali and enjoy various activities. We’ll spend 1 hour at this location.
• Ulun Danu Bratan Temple - Next, we’ll head to Ulun Danu Beratan Temple, which is a 1-hour drive away. This sacred temple is uniquely located in the middle of Beratan Lake. Established in 1556, Ulun Danu Beratan is one of Bali’s most sacred and ancient temples. It was built to honor Ida Batari Dewi Ulun Danu, the goddess who protects Beratan Lake, and is named after her. The temple also serves as a place of worship for the three main gods of Balinese Hinduism: Brahma, Vishnu, and Siva. Inside the temple, you’ll see several Meru or pagodas. We’ll spend 1 hour here.
• Jatiluwih Green Land - Our final destination is the Jatiluwih rice terrace, a 1-hour drive away. If you’re looking for a peaceful and natural setting in Bali, Jatiluwih rice terrace is perfect for you. Located 300 meters above sea level, it offers a cool and serene atmosphere. This is an ideal spot to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. The rice terrace stretches from the foot of the mountain to the sea, and the local paddies here are taller than those grown by most Balinese farmers. The view of Mount Batu Karu in the background adds to the beauty of the rice terrace. We’ll spend 1 hour here. After all activities are finished, we’ll drive you back to your hotel, which will take about 3 hours.
